My Loves

Amelia POV:

As the helicopter went down into the canyon, my heart started to beat faster and faster. I became more nervous and excited at the same time if that's possible.

Officer Rick was driving the chopper, Officer Garcia next to him. Ashanti, Eric, my mom were sitting in the back, holding our breaths.

"And we are landing." Rick started to park next to this bubble. I saw Pearl and the silver tooth in there.

Ian even wait for it to go on the ground, I hopped out that bitch and ran towards her.

I heard multiple footsteps behind me. I was practically thrown out the way by Ashanti. That little woman is strong.

"My baby! My baby! You're alright." She crumbled on the ground with tears of joy, Pearl doing the same.

Rick and Garcia walked over to the bubble after they had landed.

"Okay I know everyone is celebrating but back up, one wrong move and they will be carried by the current. Pearl and Shyanne push the bubble onto land. We will pull. 3, 2, 1 go!" We followed Garcia's instructions and slowly pulled them to land.

Once they were on land, Pearl released her bubble and changed back into a human.

I took my large jacket that I had on and immediately covered her with it.

I held her face, staring into those big blue eyes. Tears stained her red cheeks. Her hair was a tangled mess, she looked so tired but happy.

Gently we connected foreheads and silently cried.

"I didn't think I would make it. I thought I was g-gonna die and never see you again." Pearl sniffled.

"Your okay now butternugget, you're safe." I pulled her into a kiss. Granted, her breath was a lil ripe but I don't care.

We pulled away. Pearl looked to the right of me, let me go and started running towards something.

"MOMMY!! DAD!!" Ashanti and Eric  picked her up and twirled around.

"I'm so sorry. It isn't my fault. I didn't know this was gonna happen. I so sorry." Pearl just kept on apologizing.

"Hush girl I'll whoop your ass later." Eric joked while hushing her apologies.

My mom walked over next to me, watching the joyous family infront of us.

It hit me.

"I'm gonna have to let her go." I said inside of my head.

"What do you mean "let her go"?" My mother cocked her head at me.

"She has a life, a family, a home at sea. She can't stay here, she has to leave." I started to cry.

"Oh sweetie come here." She hugged me as I sobbed into her shoulder.

My love has to leave me.

Pearl POV:

"C'mon Ms. Q, let's get you situated." Officer Rick struggled to push her towards the helicopter.

She gave us all one last look before getting inside.

They went up and Rick came back down.

We all went inside and I sat next to Amelia. I noticed her eyes were puffy and a heartbroken expression on her face.

"What's wrong?" I whispered in her ear.

She shook her head no and mouthed nothing. I knew she was lying but I would ask later.

I kissed her cheek and laid my head on her shoulder.

Then I knocked out.

When I woke back up we were in the car. I was in the very back. Amelia in the seat infront, my dad next to her, my mommy in the passenger and Amelia's mom driving.

Mrs. Jackson drove us back to her beach house. The door was still open, a little unsafe if you ask me.

"Wow this is nicee." My mom said while admiring the place.

"Ikr it's amazing." My dad grazed the marble countertops.

While the grownups were talking, Amelia grabbed my hand and pulled me upstairs and into the bedroom we had our first date in.

"Babe I have to clean my self up I look and smell a hot mess." I cackled. Amelia tried to cover the pain on her face with a smile but it didn't work.

I dragged her over to the bed and sat her down.

"Okay I've been sensing something's wrong so what is it boo boo, why you so sad?" I gently cupped her face, forcing her to remove her eyes from her lap and into mine.

Amelia took a deep breath, tiny tears brimmed her eyes and her hands went up and down my waist, stopping at the skinniest part.

"I-I don't w-w want you to go." She broke down and cried into my shoulder, pulling me to sit on her lap.

"What do you mean?" My head cocked like a confused eel.

"You don't belong here. You are supposed to be out in the sea, with your family and friends. Not confined up here with me, getting exposed, kidnapped and shit. It ain't safe for you up here. The more people find out you exist, the more risk you at. I will never be able to forgive myself if anything else happened to you." Amelia stated under her breath.

I completely forgot about be going back on water after the whole fiasco happened.

"Let's not think about that right now. I just wanna enjoy my time with you, not crying over me leaving. C'mon, let's shower." Her spirits seemed to be lifted.

I led her to the bathroom and got rid of the jacket that was covering me. Amelia did the same.
