Hey yall my name is Pearl Waters. Im seventeen years old. Im a stud and a siren. Oh and another thing mermaids don't wear seashell bras, There uncomfortable so we just have our tits out. Even though I'm a siren, siren songs have been banned for 300 years ago because they believed it was wrong to lure innocent men, even though most of them were slave owners. My mom Ashanti Waters is A South African mermaid and my dad Eric Waters is German.

Today is my birthday and I'm going to have a birthday party. I'm inviting everyone from school ( yes mermaids and mermen have school ).

I was peacefully sleep and my mom just decided to bang on my door.
" Pearl getcho ass up I will drag you by your tail don't play with me!!! Oh and happy birthday sweetie", she screeched.
Bipolar I tell you.

I got up and took a shower cause can't be smelling musty, combed my hair, brushed my teeth and washed my face. Then I put on my birthstone necklace. Each newborn is presented with a birthstone. There are about 3,000 births a year here. It's tradition to wear your birthstone on your birthday. Or else you could get in trouble by the mermaid council. Them nosy ass mofos find out everything. They believe that you should honor your life by wearing birthstones. Another reason why is because miscarriages happen quite often.

You either spend a day in the dungeon or you scrub the ocean floor for a week if you don't wear it.

I swam downstairs and I saw a breakfast buffet waiting for me. " Happy birthday sweetie ", my father gushed as he gave me a bear hug. " Dad I can't breathe! " " a Oh sorry honey I'm just so happy that my little girl is grown up into a beautiful young lady! ", he said near tears. " Eric let that girl eat and honey I got you a present~ ", she sang at the end. I was curious to what it was because I had everything I wanted except love. These days hookup culture is such a big deal that it's hard to find love. Yeah I've been in one or two relationships but they didn't last. One was a hoe and the other was using me for money. My parents are extremely successful lawyers.

" Well what is it ", I exclaimed happily
" Not yet young lady, your big head gone have to wait until your party " " Ashanti just give her the damn gift it's her birthday" my father said. Oouuu he gone get it... " Excuse me?!", my mother boomed. Dad paled even though hes white as snow. " Heheh I di- didn't mean it like that queen" he said trying to make her calm down.

I love my mother and all but whew she's a hothead. I snuck away while they argued to go to school. I could hear them arguing even when I was outside my pod ( type of housing underwater aka a word I made up 😖)

While I was swimming to school   I spotted my bsf Jade Summers swimming happily towards me. She's actually fake asl but I'm waiting to expose her on my birthday like she did mine. " HAPPY BIRTHDAY BESTIE!!!! " she screamed to where people looked at her lie she was crazy. " Damn bitch broke my eardrum " " I'm sowwy bestieee I'm just so excited " " Yeah I can tell "  I giggled.

Me and her were swimming to school talking mess until a huge great white shark came and started terrorizing everyone. Shrieks of terror could be heard from everywhere as it started to eat people. " Jade lets go!! "  I yelled but she was already swimming away. I knew I should have cut her fake ass off sooner. Gone leave me with a shark.

That's when I realized it was coming towards me. I swam for my life across the Pacific. I didn't know where I was headed and quite frankly I didn't care. I looked back and the damn thing was chasing me. I swam a little more and stopped thinking I could take a little breather but it bit a huge chunk of my tail off. I screamed at the excruciating pain in my tail. I had to get to shore and fast cause I was losing blood quickly. I mustered up the last of my strength to swim to shore. I found a corner on shore and it was dark outside. That's when I felt myself go in and out of consciousness. Of course this had to happen on my birthday.
