Kion - The heroes return

Chapter one

Baliyo is part of the night pride a group of lions assigned with defending the tree of life 

Baliyo was doing the usual patrol when he noticed something floating down the river 

Baliyo moved closer to the thing floating and noticed it was a lion

Baliyo quickly jumped into the water, grabbing onto the lion and pulling him ashore 

Baliyo left the lion on the shore and ran to get his uncle, Surak, and his aunt, Nirmala 

when Baliyo arrived with Nirmala and Surak he noticed the lion starting to wake

Nirmala: He is waking up 

the lion started to cough up water slowly raised his head,  and looking around before his eyes... well eye landed on us 

Surak and Nirmala slowly approached the lion

Nirmala: My name is Nirmala, this is Surak, and back their is Baliyo

the lion stayed silent 

 Surak: can you tell us your name 

the lion once again stayed silent

Baliyo: can you even speak

Unknown Lion: Can you shut-up

Surak: well he can talk

Nirmala: are you able to stand 

the lion slowly got to his feet, but when he put pressure on his left hind leg he released a low growl

Nirmala: follow us 

the lion stayed silent and followed behind Nirmala and Surak (Baliyo went back on Patrol)

Nirmala looked back at the strange lion and noticed that no only did he have a limp on his left hind leg but that he was also covered in scars and that he was missing an eye

Surak and Nirmala led the unknown lion to a large tree and entered 

before they got too deep into the tree they were intercepted by a young mandrill

Mandrill: what are you doing back, and who is that lion 

Surak: Baliyo found him in the river and pulled him to shore then came and got us, then Nirmala and I brought him here 

Mandrill: oh well, welcome to the tree of life my name is Makine 

the lion only nodded his head, Makine Motioned for the three lions to follow her, so they did 

the tree lions and Makine reached a large room inside the tree where a lioness was resting on a rock

Makine slowly approached the lioness 

Makine: Queen Rani, Surak and Nirmala are here to see you 

the lioness shifted before opening her eyes and raised her head 

Queen Rani: Surak, Nirmala, how may i help you

Surka: Queen Rani, Baliyo found an injured lion in the river and we brought him here 

Queen Rani: Where is he 

the unknown lion stepped forward and lowered his head in a sort of bow before raising his head and looking at rani

Unknown Lion: greetings Queen Rani, My name Is Kion and I am from the pride lands 

Queen Rani: Long way from home aren't you, how did you get here

Kion: The pride lands were attacked, I tried fighting but was overwhelmed and thrown into a river, I don't know what happened after, the last thing i remember hearing was Vitani Yelling my name 

Queen Rani: I am Sorry For your loss, if you wish you may stay here at the tree of life, I should be able to find a suitable den for you tomorrow

Kion: I thank you for your kindness, is there any way I shall be able to repay you 

Rani thought for a moment before thinking of something  

Queen Rani: We could use the extra help on patrol

Kion: tell me when and I will be there

Nirmala: You won't be doing anything until we get that leg fixed 

Kion: I have had worse injuries, I mean, I had my eye clawed out of my head 

Nirmala: you will let me heal your leg or else

Kion: fine 

with that Nirmala and Makine started working on fixing kion's leg 

(meanwhile in the pride lands) 

Vitani, The Royal Family, Tifu, Zuri, The Lionesses, and Janja and Jasiris clan were all held captive in a cave guarded by six lionesses only allowed to leave when they need to use the restroom or when they need to hunt 

Vitani paced back and forth, her tail lashing angrily 

Nala: Vitani, Calm down

Vitani: I can't calm down, I mean why should I calm down, they killed kion, took over the pride lands, and we have no way to get help

Vitani stomped over to a corner of the cave and layed down 

Vitani: It's Hopeless

Rafiki: even the word hopeless is not devoid of hope 

Vitani sighed and laid her head down on her paws, thinking of a way to escape, slowly falling asleep 

Kion is still alive
