As soon as I stepped into the house, I kicked off my boots and ran to mine and Jack's room to change. I threw my blonde curls into a messy bun, took out my contacts and replaced them with my black-framed glasses, slipped out of my dress, and put on a hoodie. I didn't bother with pants; it's not like the guys haven't seen me without pants before. Plus, Jack loved it. He's such a goddamn pervert sometimes.
I walked back into the living room and saw all of the guys throwing their pants in random places and their blazers draped over the couch. Neli, Cass, and Kayla were just kind of standing to the side.
"You guys are so messy! I spend all day cleaning this and this is what you do!" I complained.
"Oh, shut up. You don't do anything but sit on your ass and make out with that one." Alex motioned to Jack who had an adorable grin plastered across his face.
"I clean sometimes! It's not like you and Kayla do anything different!"
Kayla's face turned a bright red. "We.. We don't.. Make out all day." She chuckled. I shot her a glance and she corrected herself. "Okay, maybe we do."
"Yeah, that's better."
"Speaking of making out.." Jack said before running over to me. "It's our anniversary. We should be doing more of that." I smiled and gave him a quick kiss. He looked disappointed when I pulled away.
"Wait until the other girls leave, okay?"
"Fine.." He sighed. He took my hand and pulled me over to the couch. I sat down on his lap, facing Kayla, Cass, and Neli.
"So, any of you staying tonight?" I asked them.
"Uh.. I don't know. I hadn't really planned on it." Neli said.
"I'm not. I have to get home soon." Cass added.
"What about you, Kayla?"
"Alex?" She asked.
"What?" Alex called, rushing out of his room.
"Can I stay tonight?"
"UM DUH." He yelled. Alex hurried over to Kayla and wrapped his arms around her waist, kissing her cheek. How cute. Jack apparently wanted to upstage Alex, so he kissed my forehead, and I crinkled my nose. Maybe we were the cutest.
"Uh, sorry to interupt the cute relationship fest, but I think it's about time I headed home." Cassadee said, sort of awkwardly.
"Yeah, me too." Neli agreed. "Zack, can you and Rian take us home?"
"Sure," Zack said, "Let us get some pants first." Rian and Zack jumped into some sweatpants and led Cass and Neli out to the car. When they left, Kayla and Alex disappeared into Alex's room.
"Hey guess what?" Jack whispered as the door slammed.
"Hmm?" I said, turning to him.
"They're gone."
"I know."
"Soo are we go-" I cut him off with a kiss and ran my fingers through his hair. I could feel him smiling in the middle of the kiss. This time, he's the one that pulled away.
"Why'd you do that?" I pouted.
"Just give me a second."
"What? Wh-"
"Shhh. Give me a second." He stared into my eyes and smiled for what seemed like forever before he spoke again. "Now, what were you saying?"
"Why'd you stop?"
"I just needed a minute. I wanted to look at you. Sometimes I can't believe I ended up with someone as perfect as you are." He took my hand and rubbed his finger over my ring. I smiled so big I swore my face could have fallen off.
"You're the perfect one." I said, laying my head down on his shoulder. He laid his head on mine and sang softly until I drifted off to sleep.
