"Have you guys seen Jack?" I questioned Zack and Rian. They were talking to two girls and it looked like they were about to get some action, but I didn't care. All I cared about was finding Jack.
"Uhh.. I think I just saw him near the photobooth or something." Rian said.
"Yeah, I think that's where he was. Why?" Zack added.
"No reason. I just need to find him." I felt tears in my eyes so I turned to go the other way when Rian grabbed my arm.
"Myah, are you crying?" he asked.
"No.. I just-"
"Sorry guys." Zack said to the two girls. "Maybe another time?"
"Sure." One of the girls giggled. She took a Sharpie and wrote her's and the other girls number on Zack's arm. "Call us sometime." She winked and they skipped off, laughing about how cute Rian and Zack were.
I walked over to a booth and sat on the ground next to it, my back against it. I let the tears roll out, even though I knew my makeup would run and I'd look terrible. Rian and Zack both sat down next to me and I put my head on Rian's shoulder.
"Did something happen with Jack?" Zack asked.
"No.. Well.. kind of." I sniffled.
"You know you can tell us, Myah. Come on."
"Okay.." Through my tears I told them of how Jack caught me kissing Alex and how he ran off, heartbroken. "I just need to find him."
"You guys are bestfriends. He'll come back. You guys can't be split up for more than two seconds." Rian reassured.
"No.. That's not good enough. I need to see him now." I sobbed.
"Okay. Come on then." The guys got up and pulled me off the ground. "We're going to find him."
We walked around for what seemed like hours until I finally saw the skunk hair. It had to be Jack.
"Jack!" I cried. He turned around and it looked as if he'd been crying. His cheeks were red and puffy.
"Oh.. Myah.." He sighed. "Hey.."
I ran to him and without saying anything, grabbed his face and kissed him. As I pulled away I saw his smile.
"W-What was that for? I thought you liked Alex." At the mention of Alex's name his eyes lowered to his feet.
"No, Jack. No. I like you. I love you."
Jack looked up. His face brightened and his eyes widened. A smile slowly spread across face.
"I love you, too."
