Jack was right. When we got to the restaurant, Rian, Cassadee, Zack, and another girl were waiting by the door.
"Hey guys, this is Neli." Zack informed us. "Neli, that's Alex and his girlfriend Kayla, and that's the infamous couple of the year, Jack and Myah. And of course, you know Rian and Cass."
I giggled at Zack calling Jack and I "couple of the year." Jack stuck out his hand for Neli to shake. "It's kinda true. We're the couple everyone's talking about." He laughed and kissed my cheek.
"Nice to meet you, Neli." I smiled, and Alex and Kayla repeated.
"Well, uh, we probably should go in now instead of standing outside like retards." Alex said. "Everyone roll out the red carpet for the happy one-month couple to walk on!" I could feel my face turning red. I didn't really enjoy being the center of attention. Alex saw the embarrassment in my face. "Whoops. Sorry, didn't mean to put you guys on the spot. Anyway, you guys go in first."
Jack walked forward and held the door open for me. I could see in his face he was nervous. I was, too, though. I mean this was our big night. I'd probably end up dropping food on myself or spilling water on the waiter or something. I'm too clumsy.
As I stepped inside, Jack stepped behind me and put his arm around my waist. "Uh, reservation for B-Barakat." He stuttered to the hostess.
"Of course, right this way." She smiled politely and directed us back to a private table in the back. One end of the table had two candles with little rose petals circling around them. Jack pulled out a chair for me before taking his seat across from me.
"Sorry.. It's cheesy.. I just.. I di-" He tried to explain.
I interrupted him, "Jack. It's perfect. You're perfect." His smile spread from ear to ear.
"Aww Jack and Myaaaah." Alex teased as he and the rest of the group sat down. My face grew hot and Jack mouthed an "I'm sorry" to me before the waitress came and asked for our orders.

Rian was the last one eating. God he was such a slow eater. He handed his plate to the waitress as she passed and apologized for taking so long.
"So, uh.. Myah. Happy one month." Jack said quickly as he handed me a small box that was wrapped neatly.
"Open mine first." I said, handing him my gift.
"We'll open them at the same time, okay? Okay go." Jack and I simultaneously ripped the wrapped off of the gifts and once my wrapping paper fell to the floor, my jaw dropped. It was a ring box, and the ring was absolutely gorgeous.
"Jack, I-" I was speechless. It was perfect.
"It's not an engagement ring, but it kinda is.. I don't know.. I don't wanna get married, I just, uh, I just want to be with you. Forever.. And uh.. Stuff."
"Thank you, Jack. Thank you so much. I love you." I said as I went over to him. He took the box from my hand, and "Awwws" came from the entire table when he slid the ring on my finger. I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him tightly.
"I love you so much," he said, "and I don't ever want to lose you."
"I love you, too, Jack, and I don't want to lose you either." I pulled back from the hug and Jack wiped tears from my cheeks.
"How did I get so lucky?" I asked him.
"I ask myself that every morning." He said, kissing me. Kayla and Cassadee interrupted our kiss with congratulations and requests to see my ring. I went with them and Neli to the bathroom so we could fangirl while Rian, Zack, and Alex hugged Jack and congratulated him.

"OH MY GOD!!" Kayla squealed after we got into the bathroom.
"You two are so f*cking perfect. Why can't Rian and I be like that? UGH." Cassadee said.
"Forreal." Neli added, "I could only dream of being as adorable as you guys."
"Thanks guys." I said. My voice was still shaking a little from crying. I really didn't deserve him. He was so beyond perfect. I have no idea what I'd do if I lost him..
*Jack's P.O.V*
"Congrats, dude." Alex said after the girls were gone. "You guys made me wanna cry a little."
"Dude, you two are the perfect couple. I don't think any couple could be as good together as you two." Rian said. God the guys were so sappy tonight.
"I just feel really lucky, you know? Like, she could have any guy she wanted. She's f*cking beautiful. And she chose me. I don't deserve her."
Zack jumped in quickly. "You are really lucky. You found someone that is as crazy about you as you are her. I hope I can find someone that is as great with me as Myah is with you."
"Thanks, man." I smiled. I was truly blessed. I didn't deserve Myah. She was so incredibly perfect. I don't know what I'd do if I ever lost her..
