Chapter 4

Your POV

No no no no no NOOOOO! I thought I finally got rid of him. I thought I was safe. OH MY GOSH Hiccup. He is in danger. The last time, I was hanging out with a friend which was a boy and Tanner showed up and almost beat him to death. He put him in the hospital and that boy moved like 1 year ago. I have to tell Hiccup. When I realize that Tanner will try to come and find me I rushed out the doo and went to knock on his door.

"Hiccup, can I talk to you. It really important." I say. He opened the door. He was wearing a old t shirt and some ball shorts.

"Hey (y/n, is there something wrong you look worried?" He asked. I nod.

"Can I come in?" 

"Yea come on in." I walk into his apartment and went straight to the couch.

"Okay look I need to explain something to you okay. Let me finish okay." I say. He nods and sits down next to me. 

After I explain what wrong he has this concern look on his face.

"Okay for your own safety stay away from me until I know Tanner is back in jail okay." I say getting up heading towards the door. I get stopped and pushed up againest the door.

"Look (y/n), I don't care if this guy hurts me. I'm going to be with you through this. I will protect." He says with a serious expression. HIs hands are by my head up againest the door. I start to blush when he said he would protect. me.

"No HIccup, he will hurt you and I don't want you getting hurt. Tanner is seriously dangerous." I say begging him to stay away from me until Tanner is back in jail. Then he just brings my face into his hands and kisses me. I'm starting to cry but I kiss him back holding his hands.

"(y/n) I'm sorry, but I'm not going to stay from you. I'm going to help you and protect you."  Hiccup says wiping my tears away. This is where I break down and fall to my knee and start to cry my heart out. HIccup brings me into his chest and tries to calm me down.

"Hic *hic* cup I'm so *hic* scared." I say sobbing.

"I know, I know. I'm here and won't let anything hurt you. I've got a plan." He says letting me see his face with his hands holding my shoulders.

"Lets go over to your place. Go get some cloths enough for about a week. Your staying with me. Do you know anyone that can take (d/n) care while we take care of Tanner?" He asked.

"Yea, um Zoey, my co worker at the cafe." I say. 

"Okay, well take her to Zoey tomorrow. Lets go get some cloths for you." He says helping me up. We head to my apartment. I run upstairs to pack some cloths and Hiccup goes to get (d/n)'s collar and leash. I come back downstairs to see Hiccup waiting for me at the door.

"Thank you Hiccup. If this was anyone else they would have probably left me." I say. 

"Well I'm not just anybody." He say smirking holding my face in his hand. I lean into it and hold it with my free hand.

"Thank you." I say. He cups my face with both hands and kisses my forehead. Then lets our let are eyes stare into each others.

"No problem. I love you." 

"Love you too."

Hiccup's Thought

I will protect her, I will love her, and I will always be there for her.
