When Our Paths Cross (Modern Older Hiccup x Reader)

Chapter 6

Your POV

We sat there staring at the pond and listening to the sounds of the birds. We snuggled up to each other. It was so peaceful. When I'm with Hiccup I feel calm, protected, and.....happy. I was starting to drift off when something grabbed hold of my hair. 

"HICCUP!!" I yell. I get dragged off the back of the benchand thrown onto the ground. I open my eyes to see Tanner stand over top of me.

"(y/n) who is this guy?!" Hiccup asked.

"I should be asking the same question. I swear you stupid slut I'm going to beat the crap out of you when we get home." Tanner said. I look at Hiccup. I see that he realizes this is Tanner.

"Tanner we are not together anymore. I want you to stay away from me forever!" I yell at Tanner. I stand up from the ground, but Tanner pushes me back down.

"You think you can stay away from me! HA you make me laugh. Your just a disobedient slut." He yells. That when Hiccup snapped. He jumped over the bench and tackled Tanner to the ground. I knew Tanner was strong, but Hiccup, he pinned Tanner down with no problem. Tanner was able to punch Hiccup in the face, but HIccup stayed strong and pinned his arms and hands down.

"(y/n) call the police! NOW!" Hiccup said. I grabbed my phone from the bench and dialed the police.

"What is your emergency?" The operater said. 

One Call Later 

After I called the police Tanner threw Hiccup off and started to punch him. 

"NO TANNER STOP THIS!" I yell. He stops punching Hiccup and then punches me right in the face. I get knocked to the ground. I saw Hiccup through my blurry vision tackle Tanner to the ground when I heard sirens. I saw police running over to us. Then I blacked out.

Hiccup's POV

When the police handcuffed Tanner I ran over to (y/n) who was knocked out. I picked her up and carried her to the ambulance car. They put her on a gurney and I got in with her. They bandaged me up and the same with (y/n). They said she should wake up in an hour or so. They took us back to my aparment and they said to be safe. I unlocked my door with her in my arms. With (y/n) still inmy arms I close the door with my foot. I was able to lock it.

"Its okay now (y/n). Your safe." I whisper. I go upstairs and lay her on my bed. I tuck her in and kiss her on her forehead. She should be waking up in about an hour or so. I go back down stairs and layed on the couch. I didn't realize I was so tired that once I layed down I was knocked out cold.
