Chapter 9

Your POV

UUUUUGGGGGHHHH, I feel awful. I've been sick for 3 days now and I'm really getting annoyed by it. Although I have also enjoyed it. Hiccup has been taking care of me, getting my makeup work from school, and as been helping me complete the work that I need to finish. Just like what a boyfriend should. I've been through so many bad relationships. Tanner as been the worst one so far, but Hiccup, he's different. He is so kind, loving, caring, thoughtful, I could go on, but my brain is killer right now.

"Here is some pain medicene for that headache. Also I brought in your makeup work in today to your teachers and they said you aced them all so your good for now. And since its Friday, your free to let your body heal this whole weekend." Hiccup said passing me my medicene. 

"Oh thank you. Thanks for taking care of me Hiccup. It means alot to me." I say quietly.

"Oh no problem, anything for my baby." He says kissing me at the top of my head.

"I have a robotics meeting and some batting practice tomorrow. I asked Zoey to come over and take care of you while I'll be out is that alright with you?" He asked. 

"Yes. I'll be fine." I say quietly once more. 

"Alright, its getting late, come on lets get you to bed." He says. He picks me off the couch bridal style and carries me to our bedroom. (d/n) comes in and starts to cuddle with me. Hiccup kisses me on the head.

"Love you. Get some rest." He says.

"Love you too babe." I say. He shuts the door quitely. I love how he knows that I don't want to rush into things like sleep with each other. Epsecially where I'm sick. I wouldn't forgive myself if I got him sick. With this last thought I fall into a deep sleep.

Hiccup's POV

I' glad she doing alright. I hate having to leave her, I tried insisting that I could stay with her, but she denied and didn't want me to miss out on robotics and baseball. Just like her, not wanting others to stop there life because of her.

The Next Morning

Your POV

Hiccup left sometime around 10 this morning to his robotics meeting and then I think his batting practice is at 2:30 this afternoon, then he said his boss at his worked suddenly want him to come in, the computers in the science lab was going bonkers. Hiccup works at this science lab that makes and tests new inventions. He is just an intern but after college/university he is going to be one of the workers there. I'm sure he'll make it. Zoey arrived right after I woke up at 9 this morning.

"Hey (y/n) what do you feel like watching? The Black List, Criminal Minds, American Horror Story?" Zoey asked. 

"How about (favorite show)? Is that alright with you?" I whisper.

"Yes." She says. 

After our little marathon of (favorite show) Zoey goes and fixes a healthy dinner. While she was fixing it I drifted off into a sleep on the couch. 

Dream

I was in a dark room. I walked, I don't know why, but I did. Then I saw a light straight ahead, I start to run after it, when I reach it I see......Tanner. The moment I saw him I started to run away. I keep running. Tanner is right behind me. I trip and fall and Tanner pins me down and starts to beat me. It feels so real like I was actually getting hurt.

I wake up screaming only to cause my sore throat to hurt worst. Zoey runs over to me and starts to hug and tries to calm me down. I start to sob.

"Sssh baby girl, its alright. Now what happened, did you have a bad dream?" She says still holding me. I tell her what my dream was about. She wipes my tears away.

"Tanner is gone for good, the police said they are going to keep him under house arrest and if he even tries to deny that he is going to jail for life. He is not going to bother you anymore. I have dinner ready, I'll bring it to you along with your food alright I'll be right back." Zoey says.

5 minutes later I've calmed down and Zoey brought me my dinner and medicene. After I finished with my dinner Zoey kindly cooked up, it was almost time for Hiccup to come back home so Zoey asked if it was alright if she lefted before Hiccup came home. Her and Shawn had a project due together in the same class. I said it was okay and she hugged me goodbye. Not too long after she left Hiccup came through the door. 

"Hey, how was your day?" I whispered. 

"Oh it was good, but bad at the same time because I wasn't with my m'lady." He says.

"Quit being so corny you big goofball." i say smirking at him.

"I can't help it I love you so much, it killed me not being with you today. I tried to stay with you but you didn't want me too." He says kissing the top of my head.

"Well I didn't want you to fall behind on your work, just because of me." I say. 

"Look I'll do anything for you. Even if it means giving up some important chances. Because I don't want to give up this relationship that we have. You are one in a million (y/n) and I wouldn't want to have it any other way." He says.

"Love you too Hiccup. And your corny quotes you bug goofball." I say.

I love this goofball. I wouldn't want it any other way.
