Chapter 3

Your POV

After I got done with work I got back to my apartment. When I opened my door (d/n) came and jumped all over me knocking me down.

"Hey girl. Stop it. Let me up." I say to her. She knocked me down right at my front door. When she finally got off me Hiccup camee out of his apartment. When he saw me laying on the ground he came over and helped me up.

"Thanks." I say dusting myself off.

"No problem,but why was you on the ground?" He asked.

"Oh, my dog (d/n) knocked me down. She got so excited to see me she just jumped on me." I say giggling a bit. He smiled when I giggled. I started to feel a little hot in my cheeks, hoping she wouldn't noticed.

"So uh...(y/n)...would you like to go to the park with me sometime, maybe?" He asked. 

Oh my gosh is he asking me out on a date!? 

"Yea sure I would love that. When do you want to go?" I asked. 

"Whenever your off work one day." He said gripping the back of his neck grinning.

"Thats works out great because I'm actually off this saturday." I say to him smiling.

"Thats great. Here let me see your phone I'll give you my number and you give me your number." He said. We put each other's phone number into the other's phone.

"Well I guess I'll see you later Hiccup." I say entering y apartment.

"Yea see you later (y/n)." He says and goes back to his apartment. I got changed into my pjs and stared at the cieling with his number on my screen.

I actually got his number and he is taking me to the park on Saturday. I think he does like me. I thought then going to sleep.

Time Skip to Saturday

Me and Hiccup have been texting and talking to each other ever since he gave me his number. Today is Saturday and Hiccup is taking me ot the park. I'm so excited. I decided to wear this nice little blouse with some shorts and a pair of jordans. When I finally got finished I heard a knock at the door. (d/n) rushed over to it and clawing at it. When I got her out of the way it was Hiccup. I went to speak, but (d/n) knocked him down and started to lick him.

"No (d/n) get off you silly girl." I said giggling a bit abl to pull her off.

"Sorry, here." I said to Hiccup holding out my hand to him. When he dusted himself off (d/n) then knocked me down which cause HIccup to fall as well. When I opened my eyes I was straddling Hiccup  and his hands was on my waist. I could feel my face geting hot. He satrted to sit up and I just sat there in shock. He was able to support himself on his elbows.

"I am so sorry. I don't know whats gotton into her." I say getting off of him and helping hom up...again.

"No don't worry about. This day if off to a great day so far." He said chuckling. We started to walk to the park. It was spring so it was really pretty. We got to the pond and sat down on a near by bench.

"Its really beauitful during the spring. I'm glad I live near the park." I say satring out at the pond.

"Yea i would agree. Although what I've been witnessing I've seen something even greater." Hiccup says. I look at him, but he keeps his gaze on the pond smiling.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"I've met a girl that is different from the others. She's caring, kind, smart and beauitful." He says. Oh he met someone great. I'm in the friend zone. 

"Thats nice I would love too meet her sometime." I say.

"Well thats the thing. I'm sitting right neext to her." He says. I widen my (e/c) eyes a bit and could feel my face getting hot every second. 

"Oh...um...I.." I stutter.

"Look (y/n) I know we haven't known each other that long, but I was wondering if you would like to, uh... go out with me?" He asked.

"Hiccup. Yes. I would love to go out with you." I say with a reasurring smile. I hug him too and he hugs back. When we pull apart he does the unexpected. He kisses me. Being shocked for a few seconds I close my eyes and wrap my hands around his neck pullingnhim closer. Its starting to get dark so we started to walk home. When we got back to my apartment he hugged and kissed my cheek goodnight. I did the same.

When I got into my bedroom my phone vibrated. It was a text message from my ex. My abusive ex. Tanner.

Tanner: Miss me sweet cheeks.

Oh no. Please God no.
