Think of all the stereotypes for people- nerds, jocks, Goths, emos, and preps. All you ever dare to think about is who they are now. What about who they were before stereotypes engulfed them? Where did they even start?
I never used to care about these things. I was always a ‘go with the flow’ kind of girl. But now I know that these things actually matter and people change. Even the people we think we know.
My best friend, Cody, meant the world to me, but in middle school he began to change. It took awhile for me to realize that he didn’t view me as ‘good enough’, but I did realize it. And this is my story.
