Destined to be yours

One last try

It all happened very slowly. Dolohov did the spell and Harry signalled Hermione who very swiftly casted a spell which would fill the area with smoke and dust. Harry dodged the spell but it remained hidden as the entire area was covered in smoke. Then he repeated the history. The only difference was that earlier he did it to save the world now he did it to make her remember. Even his brain was telling him that there was no hope, his heart wasn't ready to accept. He just wanted to try the last time. One last try.

As the smoke cleared Harry Potter was seen lying on the ground. Still. His chest wasn't rising. There were numerous screams from everyone but the worst one was of a red-haired girl.

"No, no, no-"

She kept screaming as she ran. There were spells flying. Looks like the aurors have finally managed to break through the invisible shield that Harry had created. Dolohov ran after Ginny and grabbed her arm.

"Where the hell are you going? ", He asked.

" Leave my hand. ", was the only thing she said.

" Come with me. We have won. The others will deal with the aurors. ", He said.

" Leave my hand"

"Harry Potter is dead. We have won. "

"Harry Potter is not dead. He can't. I won't let him. ", Ginny screamed.

" Blair-"

"Ginny. Ginny Weasley. ", Ginny screamed and snatched her arm away. She ran towards Harry. As she reached Harry, she crouched before him and held his head on her lap.

" Wake up. Wake up. I remember. Please wake up. I would do anything, everything. Just wake up. Scold me, don't talk me, break up with me, but just wake up. ", Ginny said. Tears streaming down her cheek. There was war going on between the aurors and the death eaters. There were so many people that the weasleys couldn't reach them. Only Ron and Hermione were able to reach them. They stood there looking at Harry. Their face were pale. They looked at Harry as if reliving a nightmare.

Ginny cried and said, "I'm sorry I didn't remember you. I'm sorry for everything I did. Punish me all you want but come back. Please, I beg you. "

They didn't notice that Dolohov was standing behind them with fury on his face.

"Welcome Back, Ginny Weasley. You've been a very good servant of mine. Too bad your memories are back. Your life will be as short as your dear lover. "

With that Dolohov raised his wand to cast a spell.

Before he could utter anything Harry stood up from the ground. Ginny was still sitting on the ground, eyes wide. He raised his wand and casted his signature spell.

"Expelliarmus"

And Dolohov was thrown against a wall. But he was hit by three spells not one. Harry turned around to see Hermione and Ron standing there with their wands. They smiled at him. Harry smiled back at the two people who stood by him no matter what. One of the greatest things Hogwarts had given him were his two best friends.

"We stick together, remember. ", Hermione said with a very watery smile.

" Yes. Yes, we do. ", Harry said returning the smile.

Ginny was still sitting on the floor. Staring at her lap dumbfoundedly. As she was trying to process what Harry had done. Harry slowly reached her and put a hand on her shoulder.

" Ginny? ", He asked hesitantly.

Ginny looked up. Stared at his green eyes for a good minute. Then she placed her hands on her knees and stood up. And then she slapped him. On his left cheek.

" You... You... You pig-headed, green eyed, stupid boy. You scar head. How dare you? I will kill you. No, better I'm so not going to talk to you. ", She said. Her entire face was filled with fury. Harry's hands were on his cheek. Rubbing it. Ginny turned on her heels and started walking away.

" W-Where are y-you going? ", Harry asked. Hands still on his cheek.

" I'm leaving. Don't follow me", She said and walked away. Her fiery red hair bouncing.

Harry was going to follow but Hermione placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Let her go. She needs some time alone to piece back everything. And if you have not noticed there is a fight going on. "

Harry nodded and started running, seeing who needs aid. And the entire time his heart was filled with happiness. She might have left but he will bring her back. Just like always. Because his Ginny was back.
