"Merlin's Beard! How in earth is it possible? "
Harry and Ginny jerked apart and turned to look at none other, Ron and Pansy by his side. His expression was unreadable. It was half surprised... half happy..... half confused.. half angry. Harry was not ready to face Ron's legendary anger right now. Ginny raised an eyebrow at Harry. Harry mouthed the words Wait.
"Ron, did you get Hermione's letter? " Harry asked in calm voice.
"Is it Ginny, Harry? " Ron asked in a calm voice. But Harry knew that this was the calmness before storm.
"Yes. She is Ginny..... Look Ron I've got a lot of things to catch up with you guys-"
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME? YOU'RE TELLING ME THAT THIS IS MY SISTER... " Ron shouted pointing at Ginny."MY SISTER WHOM I LOST ONE YEAR AGO....... EVEN IF SHE IS..... WHY DIDN'T YOU SAID THIS TO ME BEFORE..... WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH HER HERE... NEED I REMIND YOU THAT I AM HER BROTHER.. HER TRUE FAMILY.... HOW DARE YOU HIDE THIS FROM ME... FROM US-"
"Ron, calm down-"
"CALM DOWN....... HARRY YOU'RE SAYING ME TO CALM DOWN..... YOU'VE NEVER UNDERSTAND WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO BE IN THIS SITUATION..... AFTER SPENDING ONE YEAR.... THINKING SHE'S DEAD..... MOURNING OVER HER DEAD...... NOW I GET TO KNOW THAT SHE'S ALIVE.... BUT I WASN'T INFORMED-"
"RON, SHUT UP.... HERMIONE ALREADY SEND YOU A LETTER.... I GUESS THE LETTER IS WITH MRS. WEASLEY OR SOMEONE ELSE..... WHY THE HECK ARE YOU BLAMING ME-"
"Shut up, you both" Pansy and Ginny said in unison.
"Harry, why are shouting?..... Some matters can be solved without shouting" Ginny said in calm voice. Harry felt guilty.
"Sorry, Gin" Harry mumbled.
"It's him you should say sorry.... I figure that he's my brother from your cute little conversation... So I guess it was common for him to shout... without knowing the whole matter.... But you should be calm... Fighting isn't a solution" Ginny said.
"No, Ginny. This wasn't only Harry's fault. Ron was equally being an ass" Pansy said. She turned to Ron, who was looking furious and throwing dead glares at Harry who was returning those glares. "Ron, your sister is alive. You should be nothing but happy. Ron, I do trust Harry. And I know that deep down you too trust Harry. First let him speak. And if he says this is Ginny. I trust him. Let us hear him out. "
"Fine, Pansy. For you.... I'll hear him. "
Harry and Ron both tried to calm down because of the girls. Harry launched with the story. He said everything that happened so far.
"How are so sure that this is Ginny? " Ron asked.
"She has the scar in her wrist" Harry said quietly.
There was a long silence, finally Ginny brokethe silence. "Can't you recognize me, big bro? I mean I'm the one suffering from memory loss, not you"
That was it. Ron stood up from the chair and hugged Ginny tightly and broke down into tears.
"I thought I lost you, Gin..... Now I'm sure it's you..... We have missed you so much" Ron mumbled. Suddenly realizing about his surroundings he pulled away and removed the tears from his cheeks.
"Hello, Ginny" Pansy raised her hand for Ginny to shake it. But suddenly Pansy saw nothing except red hairs. Ginny ignored her raised hand and hugged her. The Slytherin was practically surprised. After hesitation she hugged her back.
"You're my brother's girlfriend, aren't you? Ginny asked with raised eyebrows.
Pansy blushed.
"Got it" Ginny said.
"Oh! So you're here! "
They all looked around to see Hermione.
"Hi, Mione" The Golden Duo said in unison. They both knew something was wrong.
"Hello, Ron" Hermione said sternly. "Harry, you Dungbrain! Do you have any idea what will happen if anyone found out that... that.... Ginny's alive. Hermione screamed.
" Er..... I'm sorry, Mione" Harry said.
"Get out from here, now. And Rita Skeeter is here. Do you have any idea what will happen if she gets to know? "
"We'll leave now"
"Well, mate, it's late already" Ron said.
They turned around to look Rita Skeeter making her way up to Astronomy tower.
"Why is she coming here? " Harry asked.
"That's not the important right now. How do we hide Ginny from her? I mean there is only one way out and if we follow that we are surely going to run into her. " Hermione said.
"I have a plan" Ginny said.
"Go on, Gin" Harry said.
"Ron and Pansy distract her. While I, Harry and Hermione sneak out. "
"I'll try my best, Gin" Ron said with a warm smile.
"Me too, Ginny" Pansy said.
With that they hide behind the pillars while Rita Skeeter entered.
"Aah! Mr. Weasley and Miss. Parkinson, what are you doing here? " Rita asked in a shrill voice.
"Can't a man spend some alone time with his girlfriend, Miss. Skeeter? " Ron said and pulled Pansy to his side.
"What are you doing here? " Pansy asked.
"I was.... just you know... wondering... After all Hogwarts was my school too. But surely I did not expect you. I mean in a gathering like this,what are you doing in here....you should be in the Great Hall. " Rita said.
"That's none of your business, Miss. Skeeter" Pansy said.
"Surely it is not"
"Then ,please, leave us alone" Ron said.
"Mr. Weasley, I was thinking about making an article about Miss. Weasley. For that I need all your family member's help" Rita said in a fake sad tone.
"An article? An article full of rubbish things. I don't think I'll help you in that" Ron spat.
Pansy looked at Harry and gestured to go.
"Gin, stay between us, ok? " Harry said.
"Done" Ginny said.
They silently sneaked out of the tower. As soon as they came out, Hermione put some enchantments to change Ginny's appearance. Now, Ginny has blue hairs and pale white skin with blue-green. They silently went at the grounds.
"Can't we just apparate? " Ginny asked hopefully.
"Yes.... Why didn't I think of that? " Harry said.
"Oh! Harry... You know what... Someday you'll read Hogwarts-A History and get to know that you can't apparate Or disapparate at Hogwarts" Hermione said.
"How do I always it? " Harry said in a disgusted tone.
"Because it's a Golden-Trio thing. You and Ron will always forget about it and I'll have to remind you every time. " Hermione said with a smile.
They ran until they reached Three Broomsticks.
"Let's have some butterbear" Harry said hopefully.
"Seriously, Harry " Hermione said.
"I agree with Harry. We need to stop for a moment" Ginny said.
"Alright.. Alright.. Go on...team up against me" Hermione said in a fake sad tone.
Harry and Ginny laughed and entered Three Broomsticks.
They ordered three Butterbears. While they were talking, they saw someone enter. It was Dean Thomas. The fellow Gryffindor of theirs.
"Oh no" was all they said.
Ginny looked at them with a confused look.
"I'll explain later" Harry whispered keeping his eyes straight at Dean.
Hermione looked at Ginny and gasped.
"What... Happened... Oh.. Merlin." Ginny realised that the enchantments were wearing off. Her flaming red hairs were back. Without a word Hermione grabbed Ginny's arm and pushed her under the table.
"What the hell?" Ginny said.
"Stay there" Hermione whispered.
Dean came across the floor to join Harry and Hermione.
"Hey, Harry. Hey, Hermione"
"Hey, Dean" They said in unison.
"Where were you? I didn't see you at the Great hall" Dean asked.
"Er... We weren't at the Great Hall, Dean. It was very painful to stay there and accept the harsh truths of life" Harry said.
"Yeah.... I miss Ginny... She was an angel. " Dean said. Harry clenched his fists. It was taking all his might to sit there quietly. Harry just nodded.
"Look... We had an misunderstanding Harry but.... The reason behind the misunderstanding was her... and she is no more....... So can we be friends again" Dean said.
"Ginny is never no more. She is alive in my heart. So, please leave us alone. " Harry spat.
"Yeah.... That's why you are sitting here with Granger..... Trying to remove Ginny from your heart so that Granger can have some space in there , isn't it? " Dean spat. With in few seconds he was on the floor with a bloody nose. Harry punched him.
"You better learn to keep your mouth shut" Harry said dangerously.
"Merlin's beard... Harry, calm down. " Harry turned to see a blue haired  girl said. Harry recognised at once. Ginny.
"I never knew, Potter.. You have so many choices... apart from Ginny... Being The-Boy-Who-Lived has its perks.... Isn't it, Potter? " Dean spat.
Harry was about to launch himself on him but Ginny hold his arms and shook her head. Harry immediately felt all his anger melting. It was as if the anger was vanished. He stormed out of the Three Broomsticks. Everyone kept their eyes on him. Hermione and Ginny followed him.
After some time at the bank of Black lake.
"I can't believe it, you did that" Hermione laughed.
"By the way, who was he? " Ginny asked.
"He was your ex-boyfriend. " Hermione said which made Harry more angry.
Ginny broke into a laughter.
"Now I get it" Ginny said between  laughters.
"Ok... Let's go back, angry head" Ginny said to Harry.
With that they returned to Harry's apartment.
