"So, let me get it straight.... You kept lying to me... for a year... to save me. " Ginny said.
"Yes, dear..... I'm so sorry" Mia said
"It's ok.. Mum... Whatever you did was for my safety.... I'm sure if it was my own mother.. She would have done the same. " Ginny said with a smile. She hugged Mrs. Dolohov.
"So... Er... Er... You guys know me? " Ginny asked.
"Know you! Ginny we're like your family. " Hermione said.
"Er... You're Hermione?" Ginny asked.
"Yup! I'm Hermione Granger. I was one year senior than you but we were best friends." With that Hermione stood up and hugged Ginny. She hugged her back.
"I'm so sorry..... I... Well, I couldn't remember you" Ginny said with a Apologetic grin on her face.
Hermione chuckled. "It's ok. Time is the best healer. "
"Can you tell me about my life which I forgot ? " Ginny asked.
"Yup! " With that Hermione launched with the story.
She said a lot about Weasley family, Hogwarts, etc. She said her about the struggles she did. Hermione said her about her struggle when she was at her first year. Ginny seemed to listen it with a great concentration. After a hour Hermione almost completed the story. In meantime, Harry was talking to Mrs. Dolohov and Draco was so bored that he fell asleep at the couch beside the fireplace.
"Well, how am I related to Mr. Potter? " Ginny asked.
Hermione has mentioned every person in Ginny's life except Harry.
"Er.... Look Ginny if there was a way I would have asked you to figure it out yourself but... I will advice you not to take any quick judgements. Please listen to me very carefully. Alright? "
Ginny nodded.
"Ginny.. You always had a crush on Harry since you were ten year old" Ginny choked the water she was drinking. "What... I had a crush on scarhead.....I mean Mr. Potter? "
Hermione raised her eyebrows.
"Fine. Sorry. For insulting your best friend. I'll listen. '
"You always felt nervous when you were around him...... But as you grow old you became more yourself.... You started dating other boys .... But Harry always saw you as his best friend's sister.... He never let himself feel something else for you.... But at your fifth year... Harry finally discovered that his feelings for you were a bit more than just-bestfriend-sister feeling. You guys started dating.... But... Harry broke up with you"
"I knew he was an idiot" Ginny cut her off. Hermione ignored her and went on.
"He broke up with you because he was trying to save you. Voldemort was targeting all the people Harry loved. Harry was scared for you. He knew that Voldemort already targeted you in your first year because you were Ron's sister. If he knew that.. that.. Harry loved you... you would have been his first target. Trust me... Ginny.. Harry missed you a lot. He was broken... He lost himself the day he lost you... He might show others that he is strong but he is broken inside Ginny. "
Ginny remained silent for a moment.
"I'll try my best not to judge him by what he looks like. Though he is a complete idiot. No offense, Hermione"
"None taken. But I know you'll not jump into a conclusion like that. " Hermione said.
"Hey, Mione, we should contact the Weasleys. They must be at Hogwarts. We should send an owl. Don't write anything in the letter, you know, by chance it goes in the wrong hands. Just ask them to come here. "
Hermione nodded and took a parchment and started scribbling.
"Mione.. I think you should wake Draco up. Else he would end up falling from the couch" Harry said with a smirk.
"Oh Merlin! What am I going to do with him? " Hermione said and ran down stairs.
"I guess.... I should leave you two alone for sometime" Mia said and went out of the room.
Harry walked across the room and sat next to Ginny.
"Er... Hi" Ginny said awkwardly.
"Hi" Harry said with a grin.
"I think this is not the right place to talk..... Come with me" Harry raised his hand.
Ginny hesitated.
"Trust me" Harry said. Those two words were something more than just two words, they were a one-hundredth of the feeling he felt for her. But still they sounded so trustworthy. There was love behind those words. Ginny smiled at him and took his hand.
They apparated.
At the next moment they were standing at the astronomy tower of hogwarts.
"Remember something, Gin? " Harry asked.
"No..... Just a flash.... Maybe" Ginny shrugged.
Harry sat at the top most place from where each and every thing was visible. He gestured with his finger for Ginny to sit with him.
"I know you don't remember me.... But I do... Each and every moment......
Trust me,Gin..... I never forgot you....Because you were never in my mind......you were in my heart....In this one year you were always with me.... Gin... I didn't want you to know like this...but I wasted a lot of time waiting for the right time.... But now I know that the most right time is known as now.." He took a deep breath. "I love you, Gin. I always did and I always will. You don't have to say anything because I know you don't remember me. But I promise before you remember me, you'll remember my feelings for you. "
Ginny smiled. "You know this is  probably the best way to say a girl that you love her...... I mean under the open sky full of stars..... I'm sure in different circumstances I would have said you that I love you too but... You did your best"
"You know I may not remember you but your name and eyes were something I could never forget. There is a part of me who wants to believe you and there is a part of me who wants to scream at you that you are a curse on my family...... I guess I need some time"
Harry smiled. "I understand,Gin. Even if you call me an idiot but trust me I understand and we have a lot of time... Because I'm never letting you go"
With that they smiled and stared at the sky full of stars.
