Gulf was a nervous wreck right now. Mew was sitting on the sofa right now sipping tea in such a calm manner that it unsettled him. He would rather have him screaming than this cold treatment. Mew had barged into his apartment without any warning and hadn't said a word since then. He wasn't here just for the sake of it, that much Gulf was sure of. Mew was here for a reason and Gulf was sure as hell he wasn't going to like whatever it was. It definitely couldn't be anything good, not after the conversation they had last time. Mew was going to pull something but he wasn't going to sit back and let it happen. He was going to fight back with all his might. These people thought he was a pushover just because he had taken shit from them since the beginning. He wasn't going to be a doormat anymore.

Mew took an exaggerated sip from his cup and said, "Gulf, I have an interesting proposition for you."

"What?" Gulf frowned at the nonchalant tone.

"Marry Alex Dragford."

Gulf's eyes bulged out at the absurd suggestion, "WHAT? What are you talking about?"

"I don't like repeating myself."

"I don't like being told whom to marry." He retorted.

"It's the best option you have right now or more like the only option." Mew said smugly.

"Excuse me? Mew, I'm not marrying anyone so get to the point."

"After what you did don't you think it's your responsibility to take care of Alex?" Mew narrowed his eyes at the blatant refusal. He wasn't used to being told no. He was going to make sure Gulf said yes. No matter what tactics he had to use for that.

"What responsibility? Why should I take care of him?" Gulf was seriously baffled at the moment. The conversation didn't even make sense. Why the hell were they talking about his wedding all of a sudden? What was going through Mew's head? He came all the way just for this?

Mew scoffed, "Gosh, you keep surprising me with your professional acting skills. I have no time for your drama. I'm telling you to marry him. I have already talked to him and we have made all the arrangements so just say yes."

"Who the hell do you think you are?"

"Look Gulf, I have no patience for your antics. For what you did to Lhong, I should probably kill you but my baby is too kind. He wouldn't let me but that doesn't mean I'll let you off the hook. You are going to pay for what you did. I can't understand how can Alex still want you after everything but it's not my problem. You are marrying him tomorrow so be ready at 11 am, I'll pick you up."

Gulf stared at him in disbelief, "Is this your idea of revenge ? Seriously? What the hell is wrong with you? Have you finally lost it?"

"Gulf-"

"What makes you think I'll do what you want?"

"Your best friend, Mild works for one of my subsidiary company. From what I have heard he is paying off his father's debt and funding his little brother schooling and on top of that his mother is going through some treatment. What will happen if I get him fired and make it impossible for him to be hired anywhere? To make the offer sweeter I'm ready to pay off all his debt and take care of his mother hospital bill. Sounds good, right?" Mew smiled in victory. Gulf would definitely agree to the proposal. Mild meant world to Gulf. He wouldn't sit back and let his best friend suffer.

Gulf could only stare at Mew in shock. What the heck was going on? Marry Alex? Of all people out there it has to be Alex? What the hell is wrong with these people? On the top of that Mew had the audacity to threaten his best friend.

"Mew, how can you say that? What has Mild ever done to you? Why are you dragging him in this?"

"Is that a yes? "

"Mew listen to m-"

"Yes or no? "

Gulf was seconds away from throwing something at Mew. How blind can love make someone? This wasn't the Mew he had known growing up. For a moment he could even understand Mew's anger but going after an innocent who had nothing to do with this whole fiasco was such a despicable thing to do. It's not like Mild was a stranger to him. Mew had known Mild for years even if they weren't close, they had somewhat civil friendship.  Mew had seen Mild struggle for where he is now. How could he throw it all in his face? How could he use someone's weakness as leverage?

"You're a really disgusting person. How could have I never seen that?" Gulf said in complete disgust.

"Spare me the melodrama. Just say yes." Mew said angrily. He was losing his patience now.

"Was this Lhong's idea? He put you up to this"

"Don't even take his name." Mew growled.

"He's freaking insane and so are you. Have you both lost your mind?"

"Don't drag it-"

"FUCK OFF. Don't tell me what to do. Your boyfriend is a freaking psychopath and you can't even see that. Are you his puppet? He puls the string and you fucking dance like a doll?" Gulf screamed.

"Don't make this any worse. You're already on the thin ice."

No matter what he said Mew wouldn't listen to him. Mild has always been there for him so maybe this is his chance to pay him back for all those years. Mild would lose a lot if he was fired from his job. Lots of people depended on him. He knew he was going to regret this. It wasn't going to end well. Maybe he could figure something out later. He could just pretend to go along with Mew's crazy demands and get out of this deal later. He wasn't actually going to marry that piece of trash. He just needed to think of a way out of this mess.

"Yes." It sounded like a death sentence.
