"BARK BARK!" A wolf came bursting threw the door that Zoro and I were eating lunch at. Behind the wolf was a man. The man had an obnoxious blonde bowl cut, purple suit and flashy jewelry. "Don't mind us! If anyone has a problem with my pet they can talk to my dad." He swung a sword around carelessly. It made me feel sick seeing someone as disgusting as him hold such a beautiful weapon.

I put slammed my sake on the table and walked over to him. "Excuse me!? What the hell are you doing here? Get yourself and that filthy animal out of here!" I commanded.

Just after I said that 10 marines came in.
"I'll have you know little lady that my dad is the boss of this island. If you keep disrespecting me I'll have him execute you!"

All the other civilians in the bar gasped. I heard people whisper and say some pretty interesting things. Turns out this town was run by a dictator of sorts, and this was his son. Nobody ever messed with him in fear of the dad's power. This brat was using his dad's name to give himself a higher standing. That's why this town acted so weird and unsettling.

He took the sword that laid on his shoulder and swung it at me. 'Oh you wanna play that game, huh?' I thought to myself 'I don't care who's son you are but you should know it's takes two to tango.'

I unsheathed my swords and brought it to this eye-sore of a mans neck. He shrieked like a little girl which was a pain to my ears.

Because of my animal powers my human senses have a rather large increase. All my 5 senses were exceptionally higher than most humans. This sound he made was so bad that it made me ears feel like they would bleed. I winced at the ringing which opened up an opportunity for him.

At the snap of his fingers the marine guards held me down.
'Damn it! I still need to learn how to control my powers better. I shouldn't be stopped by something like this.' I was furious at myself.

I had to relax, calm down, and concentrate to turn into another animal to get out of this situation. I closed my eyes and breathed in and out, slowly and carefully.

*BANG* I heard a gun shot. I looked around and then felt a sharp pain in my waist. I had been shot.

Loud, heavy foot steps came crashing down. Zoro had finally joined the fight, shit was about to go down. But then Bowl-Cut got involved again. He held the gun up to my head again "S-stop right there or I'll pull it!"

Normally if someone was shot it'd be a big deal. However I was a Zoan type devil fruit, I heal much faster than the average. Zoro gave smirk and spoke "Ok buddy. You win. I'll sit down and just wait."

Flashy-Pants gave Zoro a confused look. "You aren't concerned about your friend here? I'll shoot her, I will!" His hand was shaking as the gun was held against my head.

Perfect. Zoro had bought me enough time to heal. I gave a smirk and said "Ok boys. Shows over, time for you to go." With that I turned into a cheetah. Just like with the panther I made hands to hold my swords. With the speed and grace of a cheetah I pummeled the marines. In a matter of mere seconds they were down for the count.

"Well now that she's taken care of that, it's my turn." Zoro stood up and unsheathed the white sword. With one quick slash he gently grazed the blonde mans cheek. "Since you have no bounty I'll let you slide. So how about you run." Zoro locked his eyes with the man. His eyes looked like a vortex to hell itself, so powerful it even made me shudder. That's the power of Zoro for you.

Without any hesitation the man ran. As he ran one of the guards who was hiding chased after him, he was yelling "Helmeppo!"

Zoro and I stood together and watched the cowards run away. Behind us we heard loud clapping from a boy wearing a Straw Hat.

"Shishishi that was amazing! I was about to help out but it seems you two are really strong." His eyes sparkled as he praised our abilities. "Um th-thank you." My cheeks blushed at his mass amount of nice comments. He gave me a smile that was so cute and sincere that it made me smile too. Zoro just stood there listening to the man in the red vest ramble.

"My name is Luffy and I'm gonna be king of the pirates. Hey I've got an idea! Why don't you two join my pirate crew, ne?" He flashed the same childish smile. "My name is Kimiko and this Zoro.-" Zoro cut me off "No. We have our own dreams and goals. Being a pirate would get in the way of that." Zoro was very serious about becoming the best, nothing was gonna get in the way of that.

However... On this occasion it was a bit different. Luffy continued to talk about the adventures that pirates have. All the people they meet and places they go. To be honest it didn't sound all that bad. My eyes sparkled as he told stories his mentor, Shanks, had told him.

Zoro must have seen the happiness and curiosity in my eyes because he let out a sigh. "Do you wanna go?" I picked my head up at what I just heard. Was Zoro asking if I wanted to join Luffy? "I'll come too but only under two conditions. One, if I ever lose sight of my dream we leave. Two, this has to be your dream. If later you decide this isn't your dream we leave. Deal?"

I looked at Zoro, then to Luffy who was nodded vigorously, then back to Zoro. Luffy spoke up "I've already decided! You two are joining my crew."
In sync Zoro and I bonked him in his head "You can't decide for us idiot!"

After I realized what just happened I couldn't help but laugh. Luffy rubbed his head and said ouch. Zoro put his hands on my shoulders and faced me towards him "You wanna go or not?"

With that I jumped up and hugged Zoro. I wanted to do this, go on adventures and meet people. He held me in his arms and I gave him a cheeky smile "We're going!"

Luffy jumped up at my sudden out burst. He joined the hug and toppled us down. "YOSH! Let's get going then!"

Luffy brought us to this tiny boat his friend Coby gave him. When I say tiny I mean like I didn't think it would fit three people tiny.

Oh well, I guess as we progress we'll get a bigger boat.
And with that we all set sail for our first adventure.
