Zoro and the Animal (Zoro X OC) DISCONTINUED

Chapter 9

Zoro and I located the giant bean stock we had to climb. I mean it was kinda hard NOT to notice this thing. It came right threw the center of the island and rose to an upper level of clouds.

After defeating some of Eneru's army members, Zoro and I started to climb the stock.
'Hmmmm what animal would be good for something like this?' I thought to myself.
"Oi! You coming or not?" Zoro called to me. He had already started to climb the bean stock.

"BAKA WAIT ONE SECOND! I'm thinking of an animal to make this easier."
I put my hand to my chin and thought about it.
'A bird? No the altitude levels are too high. A monkey? No there aren't any vines. A-"

While thinking I was whisked into the air by something, or should I say someone. Zoro had climbed all the way back down, grabbed me by the waist, and was now climbing the stock again.
"What are you doing? Put me down! I can climb myself." I started to kick and punch his arm that was wrapped around my waist. It was no use, Zoro was far stronger than me. So I decided to give up and pout as he continued to climb the bean stock.
Zoro broke the silence "You shouldn't rely on your animal abilities. Have faith in yourself."
My face went from pouting to a more surprised expression. When Zoro opened his mouth I expected some stern sarcastic remark, but instead I got advice. This is why I could never get bored of this guy.
One second he's an asshole, the next he's a jokester, and other times he's wise and caring.

I looked into his dark eyes and smiled. "I'll try to be better."
He nodded his head in approval and seemed quite proud of the words he said.

Finally we had reached the top and got to the next level of clouds. I was amazed and in awe of the landscape that lay ahead.
The clouds were a beautiful shade of yellows, oranges, reds and pinks. Green vines wrapped around the stone ancient buildings. In the center back was a giant stone temple that reached up to yet another level of clouds.

As Zoro finally put me down I grabbed hold of his hand.
"It's beautiful." I said with wide eyes which were dazzling in the array of colors.
"Yeah. But we need to find the others first. Let's look around here." Zoro said.
He squeezed my hand a bit tighter and pulled me along.

We walked through a maze of ruin houses and buildings. Out of the corner of my eye I saw something shimmer.
"What is it?" Zoro asked. He probably realized I was tense and on edge.
"I think there's something dangerous here." I let go of his hand and walked over to the shinning object. It was a thin sharp string.
'Piano wire? Weird thing to have in the sky." I thought as I poked the string. It cut my finger and little beads of blood came out.
"Zoro there's piano wire around here. Be careful." I said in a loud projecting voice.
"Ok, thanks for the heads up."

We walked and walked, dodging piano wires, and continued to walk. Just when I thought the maze would never end I saw something awful. A little brown, beaten fur ball laid on the ground.
"CHOPPER!" I screamed in terror while running over to the little guy.
"KIMIKO LOOK OUT!" Zoro shouted behind me.

I ran right into a trap of piano wire. My arms, legs, torso, just everything, was sliced.
"AAAAAAHHHH OWWWWW!" My voice screeched.
Blood was spilling all around me. I lost to much and my legs gave out, so I fell to my knees. Determined to get to Chopper I started to army crawl over.
I got there and picked him up.
"Hey. Chopper? You ok?" Tears started to well up in my eyes.
"Ne, come on. You're the strongest doctor ever. You can't die to something like this."
My body was healing up and I was gaining more and more strength.
"Chopper-" my voice cracked and gave out. The tears poured out of my face and landed on his soft brown fur.

Zoro had made his way over to us. He put his hand on my shoulder and knelt down to my level.
"How is he?" He asked.
I out my head to his heart and checked for anything. A pulse, the sound of him breathing, anything.
*thud* it was faint but I heard it *thud* there it was again.
*ThUd* a bit louder this time *THUD*
"HES ALIVE! HIS HEART IS BEATING!" I squealed in excitement.

"Phew." Was all Zoro said before one of Eneru's priests showed up.

"I see you found the tanooki. He defeated the stupid swamp man, but he was no match for me." Said the dark skinned, black haired man.
"What the hell did you do to our nakama!" I screamed.
"Now, now, now. You're in the iron ordeal. The survival rate for this ordeal is 0%. You picked your poison." He said with a very dark and evil tone.

"Kimiko hold Chopper. I got this guy." Zoro said while putting his white katana in his mouth.
"Ok. Be careful, something is up with that guys sword."
"Alright."

With thy he darted off. The two swordsman clashed and sparks flew everywhere. I ran off behind a wall to hide myself and Chopper.

'What can I do to help?' With that an idea spring in your head.
'Oh I'll make sure no more piano wire gets in his way! But I'll need to turn into an animal that can see it clearer...'

As you were thinking Chopper started to shake. Maybe the best way to help was to heal Chopper. His own blood drenched his fur coat making him cold. I gathered some twigs and sticks to make a fire. I found somg flint in the stones that the buildings were made of. After a few strikes the fire was started. I placed Chopper near it.

"Ki-mi-ko..." He coughed out.
"Chopper! You're ok!" A feel of relief washed over me.

"Kimiko *cough* I saw some *cough* medical herbs *wheeze* over there." He pointed his little hoof in the direction Zoro was in. I saw I little pink plant and figured that was it.
"Alright Chopper I got this. Hang in there." I unsheathed just Yang and made a mad dash for the herb.

"KIMIKO!" Zoro screamed. Everything went slow and I was a where of everything going on. I saw Zoro with a face of terror and then a flash of light.

Eneru had made his way to the party.

Alright next chapter will finish up Skypeia! I'm gonna try and make some intense fights scenes with Luffy and the others. Stay tuned for that. :)
