Chapter 15

After a strange encounter with an old lady, young child and a blue bunny, the StrawHats made their way to Water 7.

~Kimiko's POV~
Luffy and I sat upon Merry's head until we saw land. We stood up as we got closer and closer. Finally the full view of Water 7 was in front of us and had us jumping.

The city was large, actually large is an understatement, it was HUGE! All the buildings looked like they were stacked atop one another. They all lead up to a giant fountain which streamed water threw the city and to the vast ocean.

"Oi minna! We're here!" Luffy shouted to the crew inside the ship.

Everyone came rushing out to look.

Zoro gave a small smirk/smile. "I hope they have good sake."

Namis eyes sparkled with the Beli sign in them. "The things I can buy with all this money we have."

Sanji was in a thinking pose as he said "I wonder what types of food they have here. Should be interesting to cook with." He then proceeded to doing his noodle dance and say "Plus I wanna see what kind of women they have!~~~"

Chopper and Usopp starred at the giant fountain with sparkles in their eyes. Both of them said "SUGOI!!!"

Robin chuckled lightly at seeing everyone's reactions to Water 7.
"Captain-san why don't we find a spot to dock the ship. Then we can explore the island." Robin suggested.

"No. I wanna go find a meat store." Luffy simply replied.

"Now Luffy I think we should listen to Robin. Let's find a hiding spot and then find a meat store." I said.

"Nope still don't wanna." Luffy crossed his arms.

"Luffy!" Nami went into angry mode and bonked Luffys head.

We eventually found a spot by some rocks.

Luffy immediately darted off the Merry to one of the entrances.
"MEEAAAAAT!!!"

Oh goodness. Future King of the Pirates ladies and gents. I swear if the One Piece doesn't contain some meat we're all screwed.

Anyway.
I turned into a cheetah and darted after Luffy. I caught him by the back of his vest with my mouth and waited for the others to join.

The whole time he was squirming and trying to escape. But my jaw is like a Chinese finger trap, the more you struggle the harder it is to get out.

Finally Nami and Ussop joined us.
"The others are coming later so we'll head out now." Nami told me and our captain.

I dragged Luffy until we reached the Yagara bulls rental store.

Once Nami got the Yagara from the man we were on our way.

We traveled around by water ways that spread all over the place. Most neighborhoods and areas had thin walking areas, so not all traveling was on water. Little markets and shopping areas were scattered around and the smell of different foods wafted in the air.

It's been awhile since the StrawHats have been in a city so it was really nice to be here.

Later on we met up with some of the other members. Eventually we got to what Nami was looking for... A bank.

See we were wheeling, or I guessing technically shipping, around a shit ton of golf and precious stones from Skypiea. Finally we found a bank to exchange this heavy ass stuff for some paper cash. The Yagara was doing a great job of carrying it but I'm sure he was getting tired.

We got in and a man examined our items.

"This is amazing! All these items are quite extraordinary. I'd price all of these at about... 3,000,000 beli."

Luffys eyes instantly sparkled.
"Imagine all the meat I could buy with that money!"

I hit him on the back of his head.
"Kimiko what was that for!?" He wined.

Nami slammed her leg on the long table in front of us.
"Are you shitting me geezer?" She said with closed eyes. If she opened them I think the amount of rage behind them would have killed the guy. Good thing she kept them closed and we didn't have to see an even scarier Nami.

His sweat dropped immediately. "I don't know what your talking about Miss." He said while stretching his collar out.

I spoke before Nami slapped the guy "How much is this all REALLY worth?"

Luffy looked so confused. "What do you mean? He said this was 3,000,000."

"Luffy," I said to the dense boy "he's ripped us off."

With that Luffy got angry. "Oi! What the hell!? I want the real amount of money so I can get more meat!"

"I'm so sorry." The man bowed. "The real total for this is 300,000,000."

Mine and Luffy's chins dropped to the floor.
I was expecting more then 3,000,000 but I wasn't expecting THAT much.

Nami just gave a cocky smirk and said "That's what I thought."

The man left, got three briefcases of money, and we swapped.

Once we were out of the building I had a question for Nami.

"Nami?" I asked.
"What is it Kimiko?"
"How did you know that guy was ripping us off by that much?"
She turned around and looked at me with Beli signs in her eyes.
"I didn't, but I thought it was worth a try to see how much more we could get."

There's Nami for you.

While we were talking Luffy almost lost 100,000,000 belis to the water because he was swinging his case.
I decided it would be a better idea for me to carry his.

We walked around until finally ending up at the gate to Water 7's best ship wrights.

Next chapter we meet a new strawhat. I'm sure most of you know who he is. Let's just say he's a SUUUUUUPER awesome guy. *wink wink*
