The Body of a Dingo, with the Head of a Crocodile

Strange tales of a queer creature has been circulating.
People say that the creature has the body of a dingo, with the head of a crocodile.
Crikey...
Sir Damon has set out in search of this certainly unique beast.
The Crocodingo, as the creature has been dubbed, has not attacked any people, nor has it hurt anyone.
But the knight thinks it best if he contained the beast, just in case.
Sir Damon was walking through the spot, where the Crocodingo was last seen.
The knight passed through the thick woods. He was careful not to get stuck in the mud.
Sir Damon now saw it; the Crocodingo, who was calmly drinking from the lake.
The creature's body was a bit larger than that of a dingo. It certainly had a head similar to that of a crocodile.
" Crikey, " said the knight, quietly, from behind a bush.
Sir Damon now took out some meat, and the second he did so, was the second the Crocodingo looked towards his direction.
The knight knew that he had been made.
Sir Damon slowly walked out from the bush, as the Crocodingo watched him closely.
The knight now kneeled down, while holding out the meat in an open palm.
The creature slowly made its way towards the knight.
The Crocodingo lowered its head, so that it may smell the piece of meat.
After a few sniffs, the Crocodingo now ate the piece of meat.
Sir Damon was now able to pet the beast, who acted more like a dog, than that of a fierce animal.
From that day onward.
The Crocodingo became the companion of Sir Damon.
