Jughead's POV
I was with Toni as I said "did you...find it?"

She then said "are you sure you want to do this Jughead...she'll possibly hate you forever."

I then said "for my plan to work then yes..."

She sighed and nodded as she said "I found all of the information you need...it's in this folder...are you sure?"

I then said "I can't have her go with me...she needs to be with her dad..."

She sighed and handed me the folder, I looked inside of it and gulped and got up and left. I got home and saw Betty and her dad eating.

I smiled and she said "Jug, I made you food."

I smiled and set down my things.

She asked me "did you find him..."

I shook my head me she sighed.

As we sat down I said "I have an announcement..."

Betty's dad looked at me and I said "I...I want to move to New York, I want Betty to be closer to home and so that you can be back in the big city."

Mr Cooper scoffed "Jughead you don't have too."

I then said "I insist...plus you know New York more then the west coast.."

He smiled and I smiled as I ate. That night I was with Betty in bed.

She then said "you sure you want to move back."

I nodded smiling and saying "just for you."

I kissed her forehead saying "I love you...and I will always love you..."

She blushed and I saw her wearing the ring.

She told me "I'll always love you too."

She kissed me and I held her as I couldn't sleep that night. The next day Betty went out and I was home alone with Mr Cooper. I saw him walking out of his room and I helped him.

He smiled saying "thank you Jughead."

I smiled as he sat down and said "so I've seen Betty wearing that ring, did you propose?"

I sighed and said "I made her a promise."

He smiled and said "thank you for taking care of her...she is much more confident...more then I've ever seen her, her mother used to talk her down...tell her she was nothing...but I never thought that, thank you for being there for her."

I gulped and said "your welcome Mr Cooper."

He smiled and I sighed saying "your ex wife....do you still talk to her?"

He shook his head saying "I'm not sure how my other two children are, they never treated my Betty well, they always made fun of her because they were gonna do these different things and she hadn't known what she wanted yet, come on my Betty was a baby."

I smiled and he smiled saying "I don't care how you make her happy, I don't care who you are, as long as she is like that, shunting like a star, I don't need validation she's happy because she's radiant."

I smiled and he hugged me.

I smiled and said "I promise I will make decisions that at times maybe she won't like but it's for her own safety."

He nodded saying "your a good man Jughead, thank you."

I smiled and nodded as he walked away and my smile turned to a frown and I put my head down.

After our little talk I was with Archie as he said "you want to send her away!?"

I sighed and said "I cannot have her hurt! If this mission works I have to go into hiding! For possibly weeks! Months! Years! She needs to be with her father!"

Archie sighed and said "dude...Veronica's gonna be pissed..."

I then said "it's for her safety, they know who she is she needs to leave and she will be safe in New York...she can have as much money she wants I will pay for the meds I've already talked made sure meds are prepackaged, everything will be okay..."

He then said "she won't be Jughead, and neither will you!"

I shook my head saying "I don't care...she needs to be safe Archie, because she can't leave her dad here, I won't make the same mistake my father made to me, just left me and my baby sister, I'll go live with her for a while and I...I can't even do that..."

I sat down and rubbed my face as I said "if you won't help me fine, but I have to do it."

Archie sat next to me and sighed saying "im your best friend Jughead I will always you help through anything...but this will break her...it will destroy her."

I said "I don't wanna do it either Archie...but I can't see her die."

He hugged me as I cried and he said "it's gonna be okay Jug..."

I cried as he said "what if...every once in a while you check up on the house? See when she comes in and out?"

I nodded and he smiled as he said "Veronica's gonna kill me..."

I sighed and Sweet Pea began calling me.

I answered as he said "Jug...he wants to meet you alone. He left a note."

I sighed and rolled my eyes saying "fine, does it say anything more?"

He then said "yeah...a phone number..."

I nodded and jotted down the number and went to call him. I had a burner phone and it picked up as I heard laughing.

He said "next time your bitch shoots me I'll pop her in the head."

I laughed saying "your upset a girl kicked your ass."

He sighed and said "meet me in this hiking spot, I've sent you where to go, come alone, if not your bitch and...her lovely father is dead."

I gulped and sighed saying "when?"

He said "text this number and we'll see what happens."

He hung up and I sighed lightly as I smiled gently and looked at Archie as he nodded and I began mapping out of plan of how this would go, and that I may die during this.
