A Nightmare Or A Dream? (DSMP Fanfiction)

Chapter Sixteen: Sun Rise

POV: Sam/G.D.

When I wake up no one else is moving. I gently push George's head off of my shoulder, he managed to stay there all night, and get off the bed. I walk over to one of the small windows in his house and notice that the sun hasn't risen yet.

I open up the front door and walk out. I want to get some fresh air and maybe watch the sun rise. I begin to walk out of George's small fenced off area.

I walk for a little while until the sky becomes a light grey. I'm in a small forest with a couple of tallish trees. I climb up one of them and face the sun.

I watch as it rises up between two trees. The sky goes from grey to pink, and then orange. The sun slowly emerges from the two trees and then sends itself into the sky. The world is illuminated as the stars and moon fade away and back into the night.

This place is like the sun, it's rising. We're pushing the moon and the stars with their nightmares down and emerging into the sky with a glorious explosion of colors.

Now, don't get me wrong, the stars and the moon and the night are beautiful but in their own way. It's like the beauty comes from the danger that you can never tell is there but in the sun, the day, there is beauty and no hidden secrets, no fear. Just peace and beauty. I know that the night will always come back, that's how it works, but we need to relish in the sun while we can so that when the night comes back we can survive it.

I watch the sun for a little longer before I decide to go back, they're probably worrying about me by now. I hop down off the tree and begin to walk back to George's house.

I'm greeted by a bustling house. "Where were you?" Phil asks, sounding concerned.

"I just went for a walk," I explain.

"Warn us next time, you almost gave him a heart attack," Wilbur says while walking by to go do something. Phil pats my shoulder and then walks past me, everyone seems to be moving quickly this morning.

"G.D!" Niki shouts over the dim of people talking. I walk over to where she's taking care of George's wounds.

"You were right, he is evil," George says in the most broken voice I've ever heard.

"Nightmare is evil, Dream is good," I say to him. I'm not entirely sure what that means yet but I know that it's true. George can't hold back his tears any longer, he begins to cry so I hug him, he has gone through a lot these past few days.

"It'll be okay, we're going to get Dream back, okay?" I tell him. He nods while still slightly crying. I just continue to hug him.

After a little while I notice that Nightmare is beginning to wake up so I let Niki become the one who George is hugging. I get up and walk over to where Nightmare is.

His eyes open slightly but I just punch him in the face to make him pass out again, we need to get him to somewhere more hidden before he wakes up. "Techno! Can you help me move him somewhere more secret?" I ask the Piglin-Human hybrid.

"Okay, where should we take him?" Techno asks.

"We can take him somewhere silent and then build a black box around him," Tommy suggests.

"Yeah! I found some black concrete in one of George's chests," Tubbo exclaims, showing it to us.

"Sounds like a plan, I think we should go to the top of that hill next to George's house," I suggest. The group of people I'm talking to agree so Techno and Wilbur untie Nightmare and pick him up. I grab the rope and we all follow Tommy to a good place to build our interrogation room.

~Metaphors, I'm good with those but sometimes I surprise myself. I have so many plans for a sequel! Mwahaha!! I'm going to be evil soon but there will always be happy endings, okay? I hate sad endings there will be sad chapters though. This book is coming to an end but I have so much planned! anyways, I love you/p and don't forget to take care of yourself! <3~
