"AHem...."
Y/n cleared her throat awkwardly, it was now morning and around the small dinning table sat Sasuke, her son, herself, and.....
A random girl???
"good morning!" The girl chirped with a french accent, she had short brown hair that was tied up into a messy bun; the short strands falling at the back. The energetic female only wore a oversized t-shirt which she assumed to have been Sasukes.
This morning Y/n woke up much later than she usually does, and the moment she had opened her door she was welcomed by the scent of breakfast. Also welcomed by a stranger cooking in her kitchen.
To say she was taken aback would be an understatement, because last night it was already so late that she assumed Sasuke was going to simply watch tv before heading to bed. But clearly, he had other plans as well. The bruises littering the brown haired girls neck was enough to confirm what Y/n had assumed happened the night before.
All in all though, Y/n could care less. She was just thankful that neither her or Eli were woken up by the disturbing sounds, the walls separating their rooms were paper thin.
"Your son is just the cutest thing ever!!" The stranger spoke loudly, Y/n giving her and awkward smile and nod. Currently as they all sat around the table eating breakfast, Y/n who didn't have much of an appetite anymore simply spoon fed her son. Sasuke wore his usual deep frown, and even though Y/n hadn't known him for long she could still tell just how much more bothered he seemed.
"Thank you--uhh?"
"Elise!"
"Thank you, Elise." Y/n replied kindly, Eli staring at her with his mouth open; his facial expression practically screamed for Y/n to hurry up and give him another spoonful of his food.
"Your name is Y/n right?" Elise asked enthusiastically, not bothering to lower her tone. Y/n gave the girl another nod, her brows scrunched up a bit in confusion. "Oh! pfftt--Don't worry I'm not a creep or anything, Sasuke told me he had a roommate." Elise waved one of her hands in the air in a dismissive manner with a light chuckle after reading the look of confusion on Y/n's face.
E/c eyes subconsciously darted towards the Uchiha who had been quiet the entire breakfast, his dark orbs already focused on her. They locked eyes for only a few seconds before Sasuke broke the contact to look down at his food.
And for a moment Y/n could've sworn she seen Elise's face scrunch up into a mean glare through her peripherals. But as soon as her head turned to fully face the other woman, her lips spread into a seemingly genuine smile.
'I'm trippin'..' Y/n thought to herself, continuing to feed Eli who was already almost done his breakfast.
The rest of breakfast went by smoothly, Elise bombarding Y/n with all sorts of questions. Of course Y/n didn't mind the open friendliness, but as the question started to get more and more personal she couldn't help but begin to feel uncomfortable.
Especially the ones concerning her son.
At first, the questions started off innocent; when is his birthday? whats it like having a son? blah blah blah.
Then they quickly escalated too; how did your parents react to your pregnancy? what was it like going to school? Did you get bullied?
After answering another one of Elise's million questions, seeing as Eli was finally finished his food Y/n felt relieved knowing she could finally excuse herself from the table. Sasuke also finished his food and got up from the table, about to turn on his heels and walk towards the sink to place his plate he halted in his steps hearing Elise's next question.
