Y/n's lecture was painfully boring but she pulled through.
Picking up Eli from daycare she looked around to try and find either Athena or Beau, but she simple shrugged her shoulders when she saw nether of them and walked back to her car. Thankfully, when she picked up Eli the boy was knocked out cold, and so for the first time in a very long time Y/n had a peaceful and quiet car ride.
She didn't even bother turn on the radio and instead allowed herself to get lost in her own thoughts. She thought about her new friend Naruto, her disrespectful roommate, she still wasn't so sure about how she felt about Sakura...
Then she thought about him..
Her grip on the steering wheel tightened, she could feel the tears building up in her eyes. Blinking the tears away Y/n released a shaky sigh, a day didn't go by where she didn't think of him.
Where she didn't miss him.
She was alone until he came into her life.
She missed his sarcastic remarks, he never failed to brighten Y/n's day. She longed for his touch, all she wanted to do was hug him, all she wanted to do was kiss him. He'd always give Y/n advice whenever she was in a tight situation, and he always stood up to her when kids picked on her in school.
Even though people started to move the fingers that were directed at her and begin to point them at him, he still stayed. Unlike Y/n he was confident, and didn't care what people had to say.
He stepped in to be a father figure for Eli even though they were so young...Despite the fact that he wasn't the father he loved Eli like his first son.
He promised to never leave, he promised to never break her heart.
Staring at the promise ring on that fit her finger perfectly before bringing her eyes back up to the road, it was impossible for Y/n to blink away her tears. She couldn't move on, and the pain was unbearable.
Because he did leave, and he did break her heart.
She was alone again..
Getting back to the apartment complex she slowly took Eli out of his carseat careful not to wake him up. His head rested on Y/n's shoulder as his hand grabbed onto her shirt instinctively. Taking the elevator to her floor once she reached her door she took out her keys and unlocked the door before turning the handle and pushing it open.
Walking into the dead silent home, Y/n shoved her keys back into her pocket before kicking off her shoes lazily.
"Sasuke?"
Not wanting to assume that he had left out for another class she knocked on his room door before opening it slightly to peak inside. In Sasuke's room, there he laid on his bed with an open book on his chest, knocked out. Y/n respected his privacy and closed his door, she knew if the situation was flipped she would be disturbed to know someone came into her room while she was sleeping and they were strangers.
"mmHmm--" Eli was starting to wake up, Y/n took notice of this of course and went to the living room and sat on the couch. She knew that the moment he woke up he would want to be breast fed, so she patiently waited for him to fully wake up and gesture that he was hungry.
His beautiful eyes were fully open as he stared up at his mother before moving his hands to reach for her breast.
"Okay okay..."
While she was in the middle of breast feeding Eli, a knock on the door made her brows knit in confusion. Y/n definitely wasn't expecting anyone, she knew Naruto wouldn't come up without her text, plus he was in class.
