Zero's eyes shot open with anticipation as they searched the box the girl was trapped in. It seemed as if she were in an elevator but had an unknown destination.

A sob was heard from the corner of the box as her eyes darted towards a boy. He had dirty blonde hair, deep brown eyes that looked absolutely beautiful, overall he was quite attractive.

I scooted over to the boy and put a hand on his shoulder. He flinched at my touch showing he hadn't noticed I was in their with him.

"Calm down" I spoke as I put my hand on his shoulder.

"Do ya know what going on?" He asked in an accent. I shrugged as sirens were heard from above questions. Frightened I wrapped my arms around the shaken boy. He didn't hesitate to hug me back as we both awaited on the box to arrive at it's reserved destination.

The boy shaking lay stood up before I pulled him down shaking my head. "We are going 90 miles per hour in this box so if we were to reach the top we would crash meaning if u were standing you could injure your body" I spoke in a hushed rush.

He showed me a confused face before speaking, "wait how do you know that?" He squinted his brown eyes at my light grey ones.

I shrugged, "I don't kn-" I was cut off with a loud crash sound it turns out I was correct we did crash luckily the boy and I were seated.

There was a screeching sound before my eyes adjusted to the light that shown through the gates at the moment it opened.

"What is it mate" I heard a male voice speak.

"There's two of them" another voice answered.

"And ones a..."

"A what?"

"A girl"

I stood up bringing the boy with me our hands connected in fear. We were both slightly shaking from the recent events as we gazed among other male faces. There appeared to be no girls which quite odd if I do say so myself.

A dark skinned boy jumped down and pulled us out of the box as we stood shaking and still with our hands connected. I shifted my gaze through the place it was filled with green trees and a healthy green grass. Along the sides were four large doors that enclosed us in this green place. There were about 20 boys all surrounding me and the boy whom I forgot to ask his name.

"Welcome to the glade, in alby" the boy looked around 18 and I assumed he was the leader. He stuck his hand out for us to shake it. My free hand shook his as he spoke " do you remember your name greenie?" He asked the two of us.

"Zero.." I mumbled under my breath alby smiled before looking towards the boy next to me.

" I think it's N-newt" he answered. Alby showed a grin before speaking " well zero and alby let's give you a tour shall we?" He questioned us. Me and newt nodded our heads and followed him on our tour.

Alby showed us the home stead the kitchen the deadheads and all the other wondrous places in this square block of land. My hand was still intertwined with newts as we walked around on the tour. Alby stopped at a watchtower and guestured us to climb up it with him.

As we reached the top I looked out into the distance it was like I was a Disney princess except I was stuck in the so called 'glade'. Alby turned to us "you know we have never had two people come up at once, especially not a girl" my face showed confusion and newts did too.

"I think you two are connected, I don't know how" my eyes skimmed to newts as I stared into his light brown eyes. " what's out there" newt brought up out of the blue. Alby sighed before speaking " a maze, filled with dangerous things" he shook his head as my pupils dilated. Dangerous things i thought.

We started to descend the tower as we reached the end newt reached his hand out to me with a blush spread out on his face. I giggled heat making its way to my face as I took his hand heading to the bonfire.

"For our new greenies!" Alby yelled lighting up a skeleton of an animal that was unknown to me. We surrounded the fire as a boys started sparring with each other and some were playing music. I went and sat with newt by a tree.

" hey newt" I greeted taking a seat next to him he greeted me back as a blush was on his face. "Do you know why we were sent up together?" He asked me.

I thought for a moment before grabbing his hand  " I have absolutely no clue, but I think we are meant to stick together" i smiled shyly. Heat rose to my face as I stared into his brown eyes.  

"I promise you we will stick together forever" he spoke sticking his pinkie out. I smiled before rapping my pinkie around his.
