It's been about three weeks at the glade and I had selfishly realised two things. Number one, I'm assuming I have an extremely high IQ because I keep saying random bloody facts and doing math in my head. And number two...
I developed a crush on a certain blonde boy with brown eyes and soft pink lips.

Me and newt we currently gardening as we had both picked to be a track hoe as our job. I looked around and saw Zart trying to pull out the beetroot from the soil. I walked up to him before carefully grabbing the stem and tugging a few times before extracting from the ground with ease.
Zart looked at me bewildered "how did you do that?" He questioned me. I shrugged my shoulders before going back to my work.
—time skip—
It was just after dinner and the sun was setting as the maze doors closed. I sat underneath a tree gazing at the sunset as it hit the perfect moment atop the wall of the maze then it disappeared behind the large wall shining on a place I had no knowledge of.
"Like the sunset" I heard a voice from beside me ask. I didn't have to move to know it was newt. Me and him have been really close throughout these weeks. And the whole glade have been teasing us.
"It's beautiful" I spoke as the sky darkened, I turned to him looking straight into his wondrous eyes. To my luck he was already looking at me.
Heat rose to my face as we were stuck in this position staring into each other's soul. His lips looked so lush and soft. His face was filled with blush as he inched closer to me.
He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear as he leaned closer.
And closer
And closer until...
His soft lips collided with mine as they moved in sync. I closed my eyes taking in his lavender scent. I wrapped my hands behind his neck as he did so my waist.
It felt like I was flying up to heaven or listening to calming music. As we parted we just sat there processing the recent events which had occurred.
I giggled before pecking him on the nose. "Good night" and I was off to my hammock.
My nerves were calm as my heart beater out of my rib cage. The little innocent crush made a u-turn to love ville. Something I thought would never occur to me.
