Harry's POV
The word started to get out once we told the headmaster of the house. We actually met him and he was very worried and also looked mad at Troy for what happened but he didn't showed it too much since we where there.
All he said was a 'we'll talk later' and I just hope that Troy won't lose his job.
"I'll make a house meeting and tell everyone about this, since it would be great to know if anyone has any clue about Jenna and Emily Davis." He said, as he wrote stuff down on a notebook.
"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Troy asks. "I mean, maybe if the kids know that they can just run off, more of them will."
"It won't happen, because they are all happy here, knowing that right here they are safe. I'll have to tell them the truth."
"And what's the truth?" Louis asks.
"That the war is getting worse and worse as the days go by, because it's almost coming to an end, which means that right now, we are in the worst part of the war."
Shit.
I look at Louis and Niall with worry in my eyes and their eyes looked like mine.
We were all thinking the same thing.
"Boys, I told you this, the way I just did, because you need to understand that indeed, Jenna and Emily Davis are in danger. Since we have no clue where she might be, it's even worse. I don't want to give you all hope, so just stay together and pray that we will find them alive and safe."
My eyes began to water and I couldn't help it.
I know that we weren't able to know Jenna for that long, but I still felt like she was a sister to me.
Like I was. Which is weird because their names are similar, which makes it harder for me.
Going through this again.
"We'll have the meeting right now, okay? Tell everyone to stop their chores and to meet in the main hall." The headmaster, who's name is John, said.
"Yes, sir." Troy obeyed and he left immediately.
"As for you three, do you really want to go out there and look for Jenna and Emily?" He asks.
I look at Niall and Louis again, and I could tell that Niall was feeling nervous, but Louis and I were determined.
"I wanna go." I said first.
"Me too." Louis said next.
We both looked at Niall and although he wasn't sure, he went along.
"I wanna help so I guess I want to go too." He finally said.
"Okay. You understand that there is a huge risk and I have to tell your families. They will have the last say if they are gonna let you go or not." Well, there goes my chance.
I don't think mom is gonna let me go, specially after losing Gemma.
She won't want to lose me.
"C-Can we talk to them first?" Louis asks.
"Yeah, of course." John said. "Who would like to talk first?"
"Me." Niall said immediately, beating me to it.
"Okay, the two of you can go outside and wait." We nodded and left the room, leaving Niall with John.
Niall's POV
I know my parents won't let me go, it's one in a million they actually would. But I also didn't thought I would put myself in danger, specially not this way, but I care for Jenna way too much to just sit down and do nothing.
"Okay, here you go." John said giving me the phone that was already ringing. He has the list of all the family phone numbers in his notebook.
I took it and waited patiently for them to answer. I haven't talked to them since I came here and it's because it costs money to call them, since they are in another region.
"Hello?" I heard my mom's sweet voice say.
"M-Mom?" I said, but it sounded more like a question, since I wasn't expecting feeling this emotional.
"N-Niall?" I heard her say in a whisper.
"Yeah mom, I-it's me." I said, and a tear roll down my face.
"Oh my God, my baby!" I heard her scream but with a happy voice. "I can't believe it's actually you. How are you calling me? Did John payed for this-?"
"Yes, yes mom don't worry."
"Okay, okay." She sighs in relief. "How are you doing? You know the war is almost over, we will meet again soon."
"Y-Yeah I know." I said and I know I have to tell her why I called, since John was pointing at his watch, telling me that I had to hurry. "Um, mom, I need to ask you something."
"Yeah, anything baby."
"Uh... You see, I have this amazing friend here at the Blue House, her name is Jenna and I care for her very much."
"Awww that's nice that you made friends sweetie." She said, feeling happy for me.
"Yeah, well, the thing is that she is in danger and I wanna help her."
"W-what kind of danger?" Mom asks, and I knew that she was feeling scared now.
"She ran away. She lost her mom and she couldn't take the pain so I guess the only option she saw was to run away with her little sister. We have no clue where she is but I want to help and find her."
"You mean, going out to the war?" She asks.
When I didn't answer I could tell that she was getting furious. "ARE YOU CRAZY?!"
I actually go to hear my dad there too.
"ABSOLUTELY NOT!" They both shouted, making me feel sad.
"P-please, I will be going with an adult and we will be safe-"
"You can't know that in war Niall. Everyone that steps a foot on there is in danger no matter what. Even if you are with an adult or not, they can kill you if they want to." She said, and I could picture her shaking her head. "I won't let you. I don't want to lose you when we are so close at seeing each other again, reuniting you with your brother as well."
I sigh as I look down at the ground.
"Time's up." John said, about to take the phone away from me.
"P-Please mom, please-"
"No, Niall. No. You won't go, I want you safe and sound. I'm sorry, but no."
Letting more tears come from my eyes I sigh and gave up.
"O-Okay mom. I love you." I said, trying to hold back the pain in my voice, so she wouldn't notice that I was crying.
"I'm sorry, I hope they find her, but I don't want you anywhere near the war. And I love you too."
I gave the phone back to John and he looked at me sympathetically.
"Sorry bud." I just nodded and wiped away my tears.
Hopefully Louis and Harry will be able to go. Jenna needs her friends right now and I'll be here when she comes back.
Because she will come back.
