Jenna's POV
It's been two days since my hometown was attacked by the bad people. I actually don't understand that much how it all works. Mom has only told me that they are bad because they want to kill us.
Since we don't know if they are going to attack again, my mom have to send us to someplace safe.
I'm 14 and I know that something is wrong.
But she still doesn't want to tell me.
"I'll see you guys soon, okay?" Mom told us and Emily was holding mom's hand so tight. She didn't want to let go. I saw my mom going down to her knees as she said some words to my sister. I think I know what she's gonna say to me. It's what I always hear.
When she was done talking to Em, she came to me. "You need to be strong for the both of you, okay? I promise I'll go and get you as soon as I can. But I need you to promise me to always be together. Okay?"
I nodded and part of what she said was what I was thinking that she was indeed going to say to me.
"Yes, mom. I promise I'll take care of Em."
"And take care of you too. Don't forget that." I nodded and she hugged me. For some reason, I felt like this was more than a 'see you later'.
"THE TRAIN WILL LEAVE IN 5 MINUTES! 5 MINUTES!" A lot of kids where going inside, getting ready.
I don't want to leave my mom.
"It's going to be fine. I promise you." She told us and hugged us for one more time. "Go, you'll be late."
I look down at Em and she was looking at me.
Mom made us go inside the train and we took our sits.
We looked out the window and saw mom waving at us. She was now crying, I could tell by her red nose.
"Why is she crying?" Em asks.
"She's gonna miss us. But not for long, okay? Don't worry." I told her as we waved back to her.
The train began to move and as we got further away, I couldn't see mom.
Something weird about this train is that there were a lot of kids in here. More kids then adults.
A boy about my age suddenly sat in front of us.
I look at him and he looked at me. He wasn't making any expression at all or maybe he was mad at something?
"Hey, I'm Emily." Emily spoke to the boy, taking me by surprise, as well as himself. "What's your name?"
She has always been better at socializing than me. And she is 5 so it's weird for me.
"I'm Harry. Nice to meet you." Now he smiled, for a second there I thought that he wasn't going to talk or that he was gonna be rude. But he was very nice.
"This is my sister Jenna." Emily said as she presented me to this Harry guy.
"Nice to meet you Jenna." He said as he extended his hand to me. Looking right through me. I felt like he could feel my heartbeat as it began to accelerate.
I extended my hand and touched his.
"You too." I said as I hold his gaze for what felt like forever.
***
The train stoped and everyone began to get off the train as an old lady was instructing everyone where to go.
"Do you mind if I stick around with the both of you?" Harry asks. Taking me again by surprise.
"It's not a problem, right Jen?" Emily asks me.
"Yeah, it's fine." I'm not sure if we can trust him yet, but I guess we are his best option since he seems to be alone.
When the old lady saw the three of us he stoped us.
"What are your names?" She asks.
"Um, I'm Jenna and this is Emily, my sister."
"Last name, please."
"Jenna and Emily Davis." I answered and she nodded as she looked at the list in her hands.
"Okay, you will be staying at the Blue House. What is your name?"
"I'm Harry Styles."
How is it that his name suits so well?
"You are also at the Blue House. You'll have to go this way and then that way. It's next to the Black House." I guess those are the real names, not the color of the house.
What a coincidence that both Harry and I are in the same house.
And my sister, of course.
"Go go go. You will see a man at the front door who will tell you what to do next."
We nodded and followed her instructions. Since we didn't have any other choice.
"Do you think we should run and not go where she told us?"
"Why would we do that?" Emily asks Harry.
"How do we know we can trust them?"
"How do we know we can trust you?" I asks back, taking Em and him by surprise and even myself. "Uh, sorry. She's the adult and she did had our names, so we have to do as told."
"Okay, but if I don't feel safe at that place, I'm leaving." Harry said.
"I'm leaving with Harry." Em agreed.
"Hey! Em what? Why?"
"He's more fun than you." She said as she shrugged her shoulders.
I roll my eyes and began to get annoyed.
"Let's just go, yeah?" Harry finally said as we all agreed.
