Harry's POV
"Hey mom..."
"Oh Harry! What a joy to hear my beautiful son! I miss you so much, how are you? How are you calling me?"
"Mom slow down..." I said while smiling a bit, I just love to hear my mom's voice. Even if it's for a little bit. "I'm good mom, I'm okay. And I'm calling you from the Blue House, Mr. John let us call our parents for um something..."
"Harry, what is it?" She knows all too well that this isn't just for a 'hello' thing.
"I met this girl the first day at the train, um her name is Jenna and she has a little sister called Emily."
"Where are you going with this Harry? Are you gonna tell me that my boy finally got a girlfriend?"
I felt myself blushing and looked down so Mr. John won't see.
"Mom stop." I said, kind of begging her. "It's not like that."
"Then what is it Harold? You usually never do this, you always go straight to the point."
"Okay okay, fine... um, so this girl Jenna, she has actually become very important to me the past two months, she and her sister are like my family here. And something bad happened to her, she um she lost her mom and I guess the only way she saw to escape that horrible feeling, was to run away from here."
"Oh my... Harry, I'm so sorry honey."
"That's not it, um since she left like 3 days ago, we still have a small hope of finding her, so you know that I can't just sit back and do nothing-"
"Oh no, no no no no." There goes my chance.
"Mom please, I can't go through this again, I can't lose someone else if I know that there is a small hope of finding her."
"Do you know how dangerous it is outside right now Harry? Do you have any idea?" Mom asked me.
"I know."
"And you still want to go? Do you think I want to lose someone else too?"
"But I'll be careful mom-" I saw Mr. John pointing to the clock, telling me that time was almost up. "Please, I-I can't lose her."
There was a moment of silence on the other side of the phone, making me feel like there is no chance-
"Promise me you'll be careful."
There is no way.
"Please, promise me you'll come back home to me." She said again, and I could tell that she was about to cry.
"I will mom. Thank you thank you so much, I love you." I said to her and I heard her say 'I love you too', before Mr. John took the phone from me.
"Well Styles, I'll make sure to arrange everything, you'll be leaving tomorrow with Mr. Tomlinson and some guys from the staff, the ones that are more capable of surviving at war. Get prepared."
"Thank you Mr. John." I told him and I couldn't help but think about the moment when I get to see Jenna again.
*At night, that same day*
Jenna's POV
We woke up by gunshots and bombs being thrown very close to us.
I woke up so lost, but also scared.
I look at my side but I couldn't see Emily.
Oh no.
I began to look everywhere around me, but all I could see was smoke and all I could hear was bombs and gunshots and people screaming.
"EMILY!?" I yelled, feeling myself getting heated, although I had no energy since I haven't eaten in days.
I couldn't find her.
"EMILY?! WHERE ARE YOU?!" I yelled again, feeling my throat sore.
I got to ditched a bullet and a bomb that almost hit me, making me fall to the ground from the impact of the noise.
I covered my head, when I felt another bomb very close to me.
My eyes began to water as I was thinking of Emily.
She can't be gone.
I stood up again with that thought on my mind.
"EMILY DAVIS?!" I yelled again, but I really couldn't see her.
I saw people running and being killed right in front of me and somehow I managed to run and get away from them.
"Em?!" I tried again.
After a while, I just felt empty inside.
S-she's gone.
All around me I could see dead bodies, making me fear the worst.
Something happened to Emily and I have no idea how to get to her.
I promised myself I would get her back to the Blue House.
I can't believe she is actually gone.
She can't be.
But she is, because I can't find her anywhere.
"E-EM-" I said, but was interrupted by my own cough. I felt so tired...
I fall on my knees and made myself like in a child's pose, with my knees to my chest and my head between my knees.
Realizing that I was now all on my own, I have no idea if I'll be able to survive.
*The next day*
Louis' POV
"Are you ready?" Niall asks me.
"I think so." I nodded as I checked my backpack and saw that I had everything.
"Like mentally."
"Oh... I don't think anyone is really mentally ready for war." I confessed and look at Niall. He looked sad at me, making me feel sorry for him. "I'm sorry."
"Just come back, okay?" Niall said, as he actually came to hug me.
We usually don't show this kind of affection, but Niall has become very close to me over the years.
"You are like my brother. So please please come back safe." He said.
I nodded while hugging him back.
Harry entered the room, making Niall and I separate.
"I'm I interrupting something?" Harry asks with a smirk.
"What? No!" Niall said quickly. "I was just hugging him goodbye. Is that so bad?"
"I didn't say anything like that, but okay..." Harry said while laughing a bit.
"Look, we've been best friends for years now. I really want you both to come safe, but specially him. Don't take it personally." Niall said.
"Oh I won't. Don't worry." Harry answered while having the smirk still on his face.
"Harry!"
"Okay okay sorry I'll stop." He surrenders while holding his hands up. "At least can we say goodbye as well Horan?"
"Yes yes we can." I saw them patting each other's backs saying goodbye.
"We'll be back." I told him as we where at the door.
"You better." He said and Harry and I closed the door behind us.
"We'll be back and with Jenna." Harry said to me as we where walking to the main hallway.
"Hopefully, we will."
