I woke up around 9:30 am excited to get my truck back and put this accident behind me. I left my hair in a crazy mess and grabbed my purse slinging it over my shoulder. I walked to the front door and took a breath" it was only a dent surely it was a easy fix " I told myself before stepping outside the door and locking it.
I walked down the hallways to the elevator I walked out the front entrance to the busy street and started my walk to the autoshop with a nervous energy in my stomach. I walked listening to the music blasting in my ears when I reached the black gates of teller marrow. Still shaking with anxious fear they would recognize me.
I walked up to the little office and I decied to play dumb to maybe have a hope of getting out of here soon I knocked on the door frame to get gemmas attention " Exuse me I was told to ask for Jax?" I asked her twisting the purse strap in my hands " ah yes he pulled the dent out no problem you need to be careful driving a truck that big " I nodded and laughed a little " yes mam is he around ? I was kinda hoping to get some errands done soon ?" I asked and she nodded to the garage bay were Jax was walking up to us from.
I could tell by the light blue oil stained shirt that he actually worked here. My thoughts started to go blank and I felt my heart racing with panic when he got to the door he leaned on the frame and chuckled " so Mrs ( your last name ) I got your dent out and your total is $45.76 once you pay the nice lady ill take you to your truck "

I turned and handed Gemma my debit card and waited for the receipt the whole time I could feel Jax staring at me " there ya go sweetie be safe " Gemma said with out even looking up " thank you mam " I took my paper work and my debit card I then nodded and walked out of the office my mind set on getting out of there Jax on my heels i knew he was there but I didn't want the conversation. when I got to my truck I realized the doors were locked and turned around to face Jax.
