Today was the day of the festival.
The snow had melted, and cherry blossoms were blooming.
The group had decided to meet up in the afternoon.

"Mo-Chan!" Kaminari exclaimed as Momo walked up, wearing a red and white kimono. Her hair was in a traditional Japanese hairstyle. "Kaminari-Kun! Hello!" The girl laughed.

"You look... really good!" He chuckled. Momo blushed and smiled warmly. "Thank you." She giggled. "Kaminari!" The duo's attention diverted to Tokoyami. "Oi! Tokoyami!" The boy laughed.

"Kyoka said she'll be a little behind." The noirette sighed, flopping down onto a bench. "That's alright!" Momo laughed, taking Kaminari's hand. The blonde blushed and looked down at the hands and back up at Momo.

"Mo-" "Guys!!" They looked over to see Kirishima pushing a wheelchair. Kaminari looked down to see none other than the ashy blonde. Bakugou.

"Bakugou." He mumbled. "Hey, Dunce." The blonde grumbled, smirking. Tokoyami walked up to the boy and hugged him. "It's nice to see you again, Katsuki." He mumbled. Bakugou attempted to act like he wasn't happy, but he was doing a horrible job of it.

The electric blonde smiled and hugged Bakugou. "I'm sorry for kicking your face." Bakugou grumbled. Kaminari laughed and took Momo's hand again. "Momo?" Kirishima questioned.

"Hello Eijiro-Kun!" The ravenette laughed. "Who the Hel-" Kirishima looked down at the boy, warning him. Bakugou sighed and rolled his eyes. "I'm Katsuki Bakugou. Who are you?" He groaned.

"I'm Momo Yaoyorozu!" She exclaimed, taking his hand. "Where's Kyoka?" Bakugou scoffed, pulling away. "Here." The quintet turned around to see the petite girl dressed in the kimono Kaminari had gotten her, with her hair pulled back with pink daffodils.

Tears streamed down her cheeks as she embraced Bakugou in a hug. "You damn idiot. You're so selfish and crude." She muttered, wiping her eyes.

"Yeah, Yeah. I know." The boy chuckled, tears falling down his cheeks as well. She pulled away and giggled. "I like your kimono!" Momo laughed, breaking the silence. "Thanks." The girl whispered, immediately noticing her and Kaminari holding hands.

"It looks quite nice." Tokoyami mumbled. "Yeah! You look so manly!" Kirishima laughed. Bakugou elbowed Kaminari, snapping the sense back into him.

"Y-Yeah! You're really b-beautiful." He mumbled. Kyoka smirked and walked next to Tokoyami. "Well, Let's go get some food before the lantern ceremony starts." She muttered. "Yeah! Mochi sounds great!" Kirishima exclaimed.

"You sound like pink cheeks."

The hexad marched forward, laughing and smiling cheerfully at the new atmosphere. Everything seemed to be better now that Bakugou was back. Everyone had found something.

Kirishima had found out who he was, Bakugou had found out how meaningful he was, Tokoyami and Momo had found friends, and Kaminari and Kyoka had found love.

But not for each other.

At least, from Kaminari's perspective. "They're gonna light the lanterns any minute now! Let's head down to the cherry trees!" Momo exclaimed. "Alright!" Kirishima laughed.

"I've gotta go do something, really quickly. I'll be right back!" Kaminari mumbled. He waved and walked off, Kyoka watching as he did. "Kyoka, we're heading down." Tokoyami mumbled.

"Uh, I'll be there in a minute." She muttered. Tokoyami sighed and walked down with the others.

Kyoka began walking around the marketplace. She had a couple of ideas where Kaminari was at. She began to walk behind the concession stand, only to slam into the boy. He fell on top of her, both of them stumbling to the ground.

"K-Kyo!" He gasped. Kyoka looked down to see a cherry blossom necklace strewn across her. She sighed and pushed him off of her.

"Here." She muttered, handing it to him. "I won't tell her." She whispered. Kaminari looked down and gulped.

"T-Thanks."

Kyoka and Kaminari walked back to the group, not exchanging a single word.

Kaminari stopped in his tracks. He took her hand and sighed. "We're graduating... in two months. We'll be going to different universities." He mumbled. "Yeah..." She mumbled, looking down.

"Once we set off these lanterns, I'll give the necklace to Momo." He mumbled. Kyoka cringed at the thought. He pulled her into a warm hug.

Tears began to stream down his cheeks. "Kyo, you've helped me become a better person than the asshole I was before." He sobbed. Kyoka gripped his shirt.

"I don't know what I would've done without you. Kyoka... I love you." He mumbled. With that, Kyoka burst into tears. She didn't exactly know why she was crying.

Maybe the fact that Kaminari didn't love her..

Or the fact that he did.

She didn't understand life, and she doubted she ever would. It was constantly changing. Happiness. Sadness. Love. Hatred. The one person She had felt all those emotions with was... Kaminari.

Maybe... that was why she loved him. She loved him because he made her understand how hard life truly was.

He made her heart hurt.

Kaminari stroked her hair as they both sobbed. "I do love you, Denki!" She cried. "I love you, I love you, I love you!" She screamed.

"Kyoka..." She didn't hesitate.

She smashed her lips into his, tears still streaming down her cheeks. Kaminari's eyes widened and He quickly pulled away. "D-Did you...?" She cupped his cheek. She ran her hands through his hair and instead of doing it roughly, she placed a soft gentle one against his  lips.

Kaminari grabbed onto her waist and furrowed his face as he sunk into the ovulation. She finally pulled away.

Kaminari ran his thumb gently over her soft lip. "But... things change." She whispered, their faces inches apart.

She longed to kiss him again, but someone else was waiting for him. And they would make him happy. "Kyo..." He mumbled, his voice hoarse. The girl smiled warmly and wiped her eyes.

"Go slow."
