Sereia's heart warmed at how he must have felt like. To remember something despite having short term memory.

"The-that grass block! I placed that, didn't I?! Oh god, this is amazing!" He pointed at the block right beside the big oak tree.

As his tears rolled down, it burned his eyes. Water was still a problem to him, but he couldn't help it.

Tommy reached out for tissues stored in the pockets of his cargo pants, but it was all soaked from his dip into the pond.

"Ranboo, breathe." Sereia advised as he kept wiping away the tears on his cheeks that quickly turned into scars.

He teleported to the tree, presuming to hug the grass block which grew moss through time.

"Ranboo only remembers events that had strong emotional value to him. Maybe that grass block was something important." Tommy said.

"It's not just the grass block." The half enderman sniffed, turning his head to the mermaid.

"Wait-"

Everything was happening so fast. Ranboo teleported to Sereia to bring her in a hug, and before she could swim away for his safety, he had already touched her moist skin. This lead to severe damage.

Sereia and Tommy gasped at Ranboo who dropped on the ground.

"Is he okay?" She mumbled, hand covering over her mouth in shock. Tommy shrugged worriedly, afraid to near the enderman.

Ranboo let out a tittering laugh.

The two stared at him in confusion. Sereia was more confused at a random ram-human hybrid running towards them.

"Tubbo!" Ranboo waved at him.

"Tommy, what happened? I heard Boo make a pained enderman noise." He asked.

His long, brown bangs covered half of his blue eyes. He had short stubby ram horns, and Sereia was quite intimidated by that.

"I'm fine, Bo. I'm just..." Ranboo smiled at the sky, lying on the grass. "So happy."

"Oh, phew." Tubbo sat beside him with relief and eventually made eye contact with the mermaid on the pond.

Sereia waved at him.

"Who-"

"-that's Sereia." Ranboo said before Tubbo could even make a sentence. "I know her."

When Tubbo surveyed her cryptically, Tommy explained. "This is the one Ranboo told us about every single d-!"

"-that's hilarious! Ha-ha!" Ranboo cut him off, blushing.

Sereia didn't know if the ram was irritated or found her fascinating. They all just laughed it off.

"Nice to meet you guys." She grinned at them. "If I heard correctly, you called Ranboo "Boo" and Tubbo as "Bo", am I right?"

"It's our nicknames." Said Tubbo.

"What about Tommy?"

"I'm just Tommy. I don't need a nickname because even my name can stand alone independently like me."

Sereia snickered while the other two rolled their eyes jokingly at his arrogance. "I assume you all are close?"

"You bet we are! Tubbo and I go way back. Then we met this enderguy sitting on a bench when we were strolling down the ocean. He used to live there, but now he lives with us! We call ourselves the Bench Trio." Tommy explained. "It sounds so cool, innit?"

"Sounds nice." She rested her arms on the grass, pondering about how all of this happened in a span of two months.

"Come to think of it, would you want to be a part of our trio?" Tommy asked the girl.

Sereia and Ranboo gasped, though Tubbo didn't look as accepting.

"I mean, if you join our trio, it'll turn into a quadruple, so uh...we'll be the Pond Squad, I guess?" Tommy dictated.

"How can she physically join, though? She can't...you know...go beyond water, right?" Tubbo shrugged, not trying to sound entirely mean.

"Yeah, I can't go on land." Sereia frowned, soon fading into a smile. "But there are various of rivers around here! I can totally still catch up with you guys!"

"So what do you say?!" Tommy clapped his hands in excitement. Ranboo waited for her answer, uncontrollably beaming as well.

Sereia nodded.
