It was around 8 a.m, which means it was the end of Y/n's shift. She got few hours of sleep this night after her rounds. The bus incident was clearly the death of her, she got to do a lot of surgeries for the past few days that she barely remember when she ate.
She made new friends these days, well by friends she meant Mikey, Takemichi, Emma and Hina. They came to visit few times a week and she got to know them. They were kind and made sure she was fine, even after Draken's discharge.
She remembers once, Mikey showed up at the hospital ready to kick her superiors asses, for being rude and overworking her. Obviously she convinced him not to, and after a few negotiations, they accorded her a day off by the end of the week, which means in three days.
She removed her scrub, throwing it in the laundry facility before running out of the hospital. She planned to sleep the whole day, nothing would prevent her from hugging her pillow and staying under her blankets.
Well except a Mikey in a sports car in front of the hospital's door.
That's when she sighted heavily, knowing to well that her plans were ruined. She waved before running to him, seeing Draken next to him.
"Hop in, we're going somewhere." Said Mikey as he opened his car's door.
"How did you know my shift ends now ?" Asked Y/n as she held her bag against her chest.
"Oh, well I have my own sources. Now get in we'll be late."
She got in the car, not bothering to question where they were going. Instead she held a conversation with Draken, asking him about his health and his well being. Apparently, Emma was bothering him way to much that he slept in Mikey's house.
That statement made Y/n burst in a fit of laughter, she knew her friend would nag anyone until she gets what she wants, but she didn't know that even her boyfriend would run away from her.
Eventually, Mikey intervened by saying that Draken loves Emma a lot and that he didn't run away, but he had a sleepover in Mikey's house. And that confession made Draken frustrated, all red and he started 'bonking' on Mikey's head while he was driving.
Y/n had fun with them, they were singing out loud and even got her a happy meal with a flag. Draken said that Mikey loved having a flag on every meal he had ever since he was a kid. Turns out Y/n agrees with him, saying that she owns a flag collection in her apartment.
Mikey eventually told them they were going to take a certain Baji Keisuke with them on the ride. Y/n heard his name a lot of times, but she never saw him nor talked with him, so this would be the first time she sees him. And truthfully she felt excited to meet him.
But that excitement quickly wore off as she saw a familiar face getting near the parked car, and she remembered him clearly.
The iced-coffee man.
She greeted him when he sat next to her in the backseat, and she hid her face, not wanting to talk with him as she remembered what he told her the first time they met. So she acted as if she was sleeping in order to avoid a conversation with him.
However, she really ended up sleeping.
She woke up when she felt the car abruptly stop. She was laying on a soft pillow, her neck perfectly positioned, and she felt like sleeping some more.
That is until she felt the pillow itself move for a bit, so she opened her eyes immediately, startled.
Her eyes met a pair of grey eyes, he was wearing a headset while humming softly, that's when she knew she wasn't laying on a pillow, her head was laying on Baji Keisuke's lap.
She quickly straightened her stance, trying to apologise, thinking her behaviour was rude. But the black-haired man held her by her forehead, slamming her head again on his lap.
"Sleep, you look tired." He said before putting his headset again.
His voice was very deep, add to that his appearance and that made him look intimidating in Y/n's eyes so she closed her eyes again, not wanting to do otherwise.
They were alone in the car, Mikey and Draken stopped by a gas station, and that's when Y/n noticed that they were out of the town. She was the carefree type so she didn't mind if she went on long ride, especially if she got to sleep in this comfortable position.
And she slept again.
She woke up this time by Baji Keisuke shaking her, trying to wake her up. This time she got up, rubbed her eyes before apologising properly for bothering him during the ride.
Baji was the type of person that didn't know how to respond when someone apologised or complimented him so he hummed while shrugging, signalling that It was fine.
Y/n got out of the car, and she found herself in front of a huge house with a big garden and that made her gasp in awe, at how much the house looked beautiful but also how much it was isolated.
That's when Emma came running out of the house, hugging Y/n as if it was a normal greeting to her. Y/n hugged her back while talking with her.
Baji stood next to Y/n, he ruffled Emma's head before getting in, not even giving a single glance to Y/n, not that she actually noticed it, she was busy talking with the Kawata twins that she met once.
"Y/n I brought you here because It's really important." Announced Mikey as he guided her to his household.
She gulped as she felt the aura around him change, as if he was no longer the Mikey she knew. She didn't know what to say so she stood there without moving, eyeing him as he turned around to look at her.
