Jimin's family (plus Taehyung) were just sitting down to dinner when there came a bang on the door. Jimin quickly ran to his room, not wanting anyone to see his hair. Jimin's father opened the door to find none other than Kim Namjoon. He towered over him and had a serious look on his face.

"I need to see Jimin, please."

Jimin's father stood up to his full height.

"For what reason, may I ask?"

"This doesn't concern you, Mr. Park. I need to speak to your son."

Taehyung glowered at Namjoon. An unsettled feeling swirled in his stomach.

Although Mr. Park was an alpha, he had nothing on Namjoon. He slowly stepped aside. Namjoon charged forward into the family's house. He turned his head side to side, sniffing the air. When he caught Jimin's scent, he immediately stormed towards Jimin's bedroom. Taehyung jumped to his feet and followed after Namjoon. He was too late. Namjoon swung open the door and found Jimin, rooted to the spot, looking terrified. His silver hair was on full show.

"So it's true." Namjoon hummed. He stepped forward until he was face to face with the boy.

"Well? Is it me?"

Jimin stared at Namjoon in confusion.

"You are the Luna, yes? So is it me? Am I the leader, or not?" Namjoon was desperate for answers.

Jimin looked down.

"I - I um.. I don't know how to tell, Namjoon. I'm sorry."

"What? How? Aren't you meant to know instantly?" His eyebrows furrowed and he stepped closer, causing the boy to step back nervously, trying to distance himself from the intimidating alpha. This was when Taehyung had had enough.

"He said he doesn't know, Namjoon. I think you should leave," Taehyung said sharply.

Jimin was surprised by his best friend's reaction. Since when was Taehyung almost as tall as Namjoon? Namjoon turned to look at Taehyung in surprise.

"Are you... Are you an alpha Taehyung? What is the Luna doing with an unmated alpha in his home?"

Jimin didn't quite know what he meant by this.

"He hasn't presented yet, Namjoon," he explained.

Namjoon whipped his head around to Jimin.

"Jimin. Please, I need to know." He went to grab Jimin's upper arms but before he had even reached him, Taehyung gripped Namjoon's arm and gave him a death stare.

"You need to leave, Namjoon. Now," He growled in his deepest pitch. His eyes were pitch black and the veins were prominent on his hands and arms. Neither Taehyung nor Jimin knew where his reaction was coming from. All Taehyung knew was that he had to defend his best friend. He had to defend the pack Luna. It took everyone by surprise when Namjoon blinked, lowered his gaze, and retreated out of the room.

"Forgive me. My behavior was inappropriate. Me and Ji-ah are the only ones who know, by the way, and we won't tell anyone. I'm sorry Jimin." He bowed to Jimin and headed to the front door with his head down.

Jimin's family stared at Taehyung with bewilderment. It was unheard of that such a powerful alpha would submit to a kid who hadn't even presented yet. Taehyung kept his eyes on Namjoon until the door had closed behind him. Jimin tentatively reached out and placed a hand on Taehyung's arm.

"Hey, Tae? Are you okay?"

Taehyung blinked at Jimin.

"Wha - what? Oh, yeah, I'm fine. Are you okay, Jimin?"

His eyes filled with worry and he gently placed his hands on Jimin's waist, studying the boy's face.

"Yeah, I'm okay. I just.. Can't believe he did that, you know?"

Taehyung and Jimin's family nodded in agreement.

"Jimin, it's only a matter of time before word gets out. I think you need to tell the leader," Taehyung suggested gently.

Jimin agreed, a grave look on his face.

Taehyung slept over that night, reluctant to leave Jimin's side. He looked down at his friend who was breathing gently, curled into his side. He knew then that he had a duty to Jimin. The next few days were not going to be easy on him, Taehyung knew this. He was going to stay by his side and protect him, no matter what. Taehyung was unsure if he felt like this because it was his best friend, or if it was because this beautiful creature beside him was the Luna.

Jimin knew he could not hide it any longer. The next morning, he and his parents made their way to the pack headquarters. Jimin anxiously adjusted his hood as they passed the busy Sunday market. It was as if the whole pack were out today, already knowing what was to happen that day deep in their bones, without actually realizing it. Jimin entered the headquarters, his parents behind him. The leader's secretary didn't notice Jimin until he spoke.

"I need to see the leader, please."

She looked up and glanced at the boy before her. His eyes were covered by the hood. She checked the calendar on her desk and nibbled at her lip.

"Hmm, he's currently in a meeting with the pack elders. Can it wait?"

"No. It really can't," Jimin said firmly. He lifted his hood just so that she could see his eyes. She faltered once she saw the power emanating from the omega. She instinctively knew not to question him.

She pushed open the heavy oak doors of the meeting room and cleared her throat.

"I'm sorry to interrupt, but he said that it's urgent."

Jimin took a breath before walking into the room, his parents close behind. The leader sat at the head of the wooden table and regarded the boy before him. His advisors, the pack elders, sat beside him at the long wooden table that lined the perimeter of the room. Jimin stood before them, facing the leader.

"My leader, it would be easier if I just showed you."

With that, Jimin let his hood fall from his head. At the sight of his startling silver hair, the elders in the room all gasped in unison. Some even stood up in shock. The leader sat completely still, the only hint he had seen Jimin at all being the tears in his eyes. He raised himself from his chair slowly, and the room went silent.

"My Luna, you have saved us all."
