Dad? (Reader X Bakugo)

The tragic Accident

You start to cough up blood as you think about Bakugo. ‘I’m sorry Bakugo.’ You begin to become unconscious and pass out. 
About 3 minutes later Bakugo runs to you and holds you in his arms crying.  “No… y/n please… come back. Come on y/n wake up. You know you can’t go like this. I-i love you y/n. PLEASE JUST WAKE UP!!” 
Dark Shadow brings the best doctors and nurses so that you can stay alive. After you went under 4 different major surgeries, the doctors broke the news to Bakugo. “Y/N is alive, but since this case was so bad we had to cut her wings off, so we could fix her spine correctly. I’m sorry. She will also be in a coma for, we don’t know how long. I want to say 3 months maybe?”
Tokoyami grabs Momo, who is another doctor that works there. He explained the situation to Momo, but Momo knew about it already because she couldn’t help on the procedure because they were close to her as family. “I’m so sorry! I’m Sorry I couldn’t do anything. I fought to get into the room but they had guards at the doors. I’m so sorry Bakugo. I tried. They could be awake right now if they would just let me into that damn OR. DAMNIT!!” Momo starts crying on the floor as Bakugo just stares at you with no emotion in his eyes. 
Bakugo isn’t himself so he tells momo, “It’s fine, but if y’all dont mind I will be staying right here. Thanks for the information guys, I appreciate it, but I would like to be left alone.” Bakugo didn’t tear up or anything. He wanted to cry but couldn’t. He had so much anger and sadness built up in him that he could barely move or speak to other people. All he could do was stare at you. After a while he started to cry without even noticing it. 
The doctor came in about an hour later to check on the results of your BP. “Hello sir? Service hours are over. You have to go home so they can heal.” The doctor tried to talk Bakugo into leaving you. 
Bakugo got even angrier but he was speaking calmly, “I’m Katsuki Bakugo. I am not leaving them. If I am forced out of this room I will kill. Yes, I may be a pro hero but I don’t take this stuff lightly. This person is the person I want to be with for the rest of my life and they are laying on a bed unconscious in front of me and I will sit here and wait for them to wake back up. No matter how long it takes, I will be there for them like I promised when we were in highschool. I will be out of your way, just don’t make me leave please and thank you.” Bakugo looks at the doctor with his depressed red eyes.  
The doctor understood and smiled. “I understand. If you need anything I will be at the desk until 7am. I will be back around 4pm. If you need anything from now and 7 I will be glad to assist you sir. You will not be forced out, but if there is a malfunction in the process of them healing you will have to step out of the room. I’ll get you some water and an extra pillow.” The doctor walks away as Bakugo stares at you and he starts to think to himself how sorry he is to you. 
 Bakugo never leaves your side. He wouldn’t eat, sleep, shower, or go home. He wanted to make sure that you were ok. He was mad at himself that he listened to you. He wanted to protect you. Bakugo sat there waiting for you to awaken out of your tragic coma. He talked to you everyday for hours. When he did get rest, he would be sleeping next to you making sure that you are protected and comfortable while you are out. 
After about a month Bakugo would begin to go home for a few hours and come back with some stuff that he would need. He worked from the hospital since he didn’t wanna leave your side. He has been working from the hospital so often that he has been interested in meds and learning about medical aid and stuff like that. He found something in an old book that the hospital had in their little library section. And it was a way to get you out of your coma without any complications. But don't incorrectly can cause some serious pain and maybe even death. Bakugo studied the technique about 200 times before getting it correct. He wanted to help you no matter the cost. Before he did anything he called in pro hero Hawks and villain Dabi. He wanted to make sure of a few things before doing the operation. 
Hawks and Dabi get to the hospital and the three of them meet up in the room you're in. “We already heard what happened to them. They said she can’t be helped. All we can do is sit and wait.” Hawks says with a great depressed look on his face. 
Dabi stands there looking at you with guilt. “I’m not a dumbass Bakugo. You figured something out huh? Because you don’t like me or Hawks that much and if there was something you needed from us it would be for their sake not yours. So tell me what you came up with if I’m correct.” 
Hawks stands there in shock, “Bakugo? Did you figure something out to help our little baby? Tell me Bakugo, did you?”
Bakugo waits a few seconds to answer them. “I did find something. I found it in an old book from the 2000’s in the hospital's library. I studied for 3 months. I waited a month before thinking that I can study medicine and think of a way to take them off of the ventilator at least. Since I catch on to things fast, I got Kirishima to run my company while I’m gone. I took 4 years worth of studying and working for medicine in 3 months and I figured out a way to get them to breathe on their own.” Bakugo takes a notebook out of his bag. “This is my evidence if you two would like to read through it before I ask if I can do this procedure on them. I think it would speed up the healing process. Also Hawks I do have a very important question for you.” Bakugo looks at you while Dabi is going through the book. 
Hawks walks up to Bakugo and gives him a huge hug. “I appreciate you being there for them. They really like you in their life and you can ask me anything.” 
Bakugo looks at you and then looks back at Hawks. “Their wings had to get cut off to fix their spine a few months ago. And I was wondering, why aren't they growing back? The doctor said that they will grow back after a certain period of time.” Bakugo holds your numb hand as Hawks smiles. 
Hawks doesn’t seem worried at all but he isn’t in relief either. “Y/N has to be active to regrow her wings back. Remember when I lost my wings in a fight? And they were small? Well they could only grow back if I trained and made them grow back from physically moving.” Bakugo understood the situation and kissed your hand then took Dabi and Hawks outside the room to discuss the procedure.
