Dad? (Reader X Bakugo)

The Poison!

As Bakugo was talking to Dabi and Hawks in the hallway about the procedure he wants to do, a doctor goes into the room without the guys knowing and gives you a shot of a blue liquid. After Bakugo explains the process to Dabi and Hawks, he hears your monitor go off. He runs to you and starts pumping your chest. Not long after he notices some blue liquid barely coming out of your arm. “I NEED A DOCTOR AND A SUCTION IN HERE ASAP NOW!!!!” Bakugo screams from the top of his lungs and all you could do was lay there and try to fight it.

 Once a doctor got in the room with a suction, they see Bakugo on top of you giving you chest compressions. “What do you need me to do sir?” The doctor runs up to the other side of Bakugo and looks at you to check on you. 

“I need you to put the suction on their arm and suck out all of the blue liquid out of their body.” Bakugo begins to worry more and more. He says under his breath, “Come on Y/N you can’t leave me like this. I don’t wanna lose you. Please come back to me baby please!” 

As the doctor extracts the blue liquid out of your body, your body begins to dehydrate. “NURSE I NEED MORE SALINE NOW!! THEY ARE DEHYDRATING AT A FAST RATE. If this continues we will lose them.” The nurse grabs 5 bags of saline and there are 4 other doctors in the door waiting for instructions. 

As Bakugo is giving you chest compressions, the person who put the blue liquid sees the tears in Bakugo’s eyes and looks at the antidote that is in their pocket. They walk into the room and look into Bakugo's eyes, “I did this. I put the poison in them. I got told to, to get a huge reward, but I wasn’t supposed to say that. So I might die but it looks like you care for them a lot.” The person grabs the antidote from their pocket and shows it to Bakugo. “This is the antidote. This will save their life, and probably do even more.” 

Bakugo didn’t know what to do so he used the antidote because that was his only option at the moment. “Give it to the nurse with the IV bag.” Bakugo looks at the nurse with a killer look. “Put it in them as quickly as possible!” Bakugo thinks of the formula that he has made in his head about a million times just in case this doesn’t work. “NOW YOU!!” Bakugo looks at the person who did this to you. “What was in the poison? I need to know so that I can make another formula just in case this doesn’t work.” 

The person  takes a deep breath to remember the name of the poison. “The name was Polonium 210. Do you know about that poison right?” 

Bakugo pauses for a split second to think. Bakugo signals another doctor to do chest compressions as he runs to the lab to find his serum that he was going to put in your organs. “WHERE IS IT!!?!?!??! I KNOW IT WAS IN HERE SOMEWHERE!!” 

A strange person pops out of hiding from the closet. “Do you mean this? Katsuki. I thought you don’t care if someone lives or dies. The only thing you want to do is to become a pro hero.” 

Bakugo heard that voice before, but for some odd reason he couldn’t remember. “Look I’m sorry if I did anything to you in the past. I really need that medicine please! I finally found someone I want to spend the rest of my life with. Just let me save them! Please! You can kill me afterwards. Just let me save them.” As Bakugo begs, the figure tosses the medicine to Bakugo and Bakugo runs to you. 

The doctor doing compressions begins to slow down and give up on saving you. Right when he stops, Bakugo runs in the room pushing the other doctors that are at the door out of the way. Bakugo yells at everyone. “WHY DID YOU STOP COMPRESSIONS!!?? I SAID I WAS COMING BACK!!” He looks to see you, you are blue and dehydrated. He runs up to you with the medicine. “Come on please!!” He quickly injects you with it. “Come on!! PLEASE Y/N!!!” He continues chest compressions. The doctors respectfully leave the room.The only people in the room are you, Bakugo and the person who did this. 

Hawks and Dabi are outside in the hall looking in the room crying. Hawks screams and his wings automatically fall to the ground. Dabi can’t show emotions without bleeding from his scars so when he cries it’s for a reason. Dabi tries hard not to explode with his quirk, but some of his flames come out of his eyes. “y/n please don’t go. I wanna know you better. I’m sorry I left you when you were little. I’ll make it up to you I promise! I’ll make it up” Dabi starts to cry as he collapses on the floor. 

Bakugo waits for the medicine to kick in as he switches out the saline bags and lays next to you, hoping that you will start breathing on your own. Bakugo cries in your arms. Hawks and Dabi are on the floor crying and all the nurses and doctors left in respect of you. You start to turn back to your normal skin color. Hawks and Dabi stop crying after an hour and sleep on the couch that is in your room. A few hours pass by, and Bakugo is sleeping on you and Dabi and Hawks are cuddled close on the couch. The monitor begins to start counting your heartbeats again. And you begin to become warm again. 

You slowly wake up and notice that your chest hurts like you got hit by a train and you feel some weight on the right side of your body. You look down to see Bakugo and you start to cry. Your crying wakes Bakugo and Bakugo start crying. He hugs you tightly. “I’m so happy you're awake. I’m so sorry that I couldn’t help you sooner baby! I’m so sorry.” 

You start choking as you point to the tube that is sticking out of your throat. Bakugo takes it out and as he is taking it out, Hawks and Dabi wake up to your beautiful face breathing. They both run up to you crying in joy to see you alive. After the tube was out of your throat, you could talk but not too loud. You cry and hug everyone. You struggle to talk to Bakugo, “I’m sorry I did that. It’s just tha-” 

Bakugo cuts you off with a sweet tender kiss. “You’re alive and that’s all that matters right now. I don’t care about anything else but your health. You are more than enough in my life.” Bakugo kisses you one more time before Hawks gets a call. 

“Hello? This better be important!.... WHAT!?!? ……  I TOLD YOU GUYS TO FIND HIM NOT MAKE HIM ANGRY!!” Hawks hangs up and looks in a hurry. He goes to you, and gives you a kiss on the forehead. “Hey sweetie, I need to go do something. I’m sorry I have to leave. I promise I’ll make it up to you.” Hawks flies out of the hospital in a hurry.
