Chapter 11

After quite a good day, you had to get yourself some sleep. As it was getting pretty late, you decided to finish the documents, that were still laying on your desk.

Y/N:I could swear, that I finished everything I had to do before I left! Maybe it is something new... but how did it get here?

You decided to check the document ASAP, but the date on the front was one day ahead, and there was no way to open it

Y/N:Huh, an interesting version of timelock.. the more I try to understand this world, the more questions arise. Welp, guess I will have to wait until tommorow then!

You readied yourself and as you were trying to sleep, a certain thought could not leave your head.. and a certain person as well

Y/N:"I want to show her, that I am worthy of her sister's company!"

The next day

As your alarm clock woke you up at 6, as it was supposed to on weekdays, you finished getting yourself ready for another day full of paperwork. Just as you were about to head out to work you remembered that file on your desk

Y/N:It was labelled with today's date, so it should now open without any resistance, right? Anyways, I will check it out in my office

The weather was pleasantly warm, with a cool breeze from the seaside. To top it off, the birds were chirping on a tree next to your house. It would be nice, if they wouldn't do that throughout the whole night as well

You double-checked if your door is locked, and after making sure, that you are ready and fully prepared, you made your way towards your workplace. It was 7:30 A.M when you arrived at the office. As you approached the door, you heard 2 voices from inside

Y/N:"Suruga always arrives at 8 A.M, so it's definitely not her. I recognise Kaga's voice, and the second one is... Cleveland? What is she doing in there?"

You decided to listen in for a little while longer, to get a little insight on the situation they were discussing

Cleveland:But it cannot wait! It's a matter of life and death!

Kaga:*sigh* I must repeat once more: It's not up to me, but to Grand Admiral Y/N to make this decision. If I could do what I wanted to without asking for permission, you wouldn't even be here!

It was at this moment, that you decided to come in to avoid further fights

Y/N:*opens the door* Good morning you two

Kaga&Cleveland:Good morning sir!*bows*

Y/N:At ease. I happened to overhear a fraction of your 'conversation'. Can any one of you explain the situation to me?

Cleveland:Grand Admiral, have you recieved the files in a case locked in some kind of timelock?

Y/N:Positive. What about that?

Kaga:Both of us did as well. We don't know if Suruga recieved one, but we are almost sure that she did.

Y/N:What is inside?

Cleveland:It's better if you check it out yourself

As expected, the case with files opened smoothly, as if nothing was ever there. There were no mechanism that would keep the case locked, so you already had some clues whose doing might that be. Without much thinking, you took out the files feom the case. The front of the file was labelled with a red 'confidential' stamp on it.

Y/N:"I have no way but to read this"

After reading throught the document, you now understood the situation a little better. The document contained a coordinates of the place where one of Cleveland's sisters, Denver could be. That's why she was so noisy about the situation
