AFTER CONFIRMING THAT they weren't being followed anymore, Natasha, (Y/N) and Yelena escaped the vents and left the city on foot, not wanting to catch more attention into themselves.

They walked for hours until they found a gas station with a convenience store, deciding it was the best chance to get more supplies, they walked towards it in silence.

"The Red Room's still active. Where is it?" Natasha spoke up as they entered the store.

"I have no idea." Yelena answered while she looked for bandages. "He moves location constantly. And every widow is sedated on entry and exit for maximum security."

"I'm just finding it hard to believe that he could stay off our radar." (Y/N) said.

"Well, it's not smart to attack Avengers if you want to stay hidden. I mean, the clue is in the name." Yelena replied.

"Dreykov kills you, one of the big ones comes to avenge you."

"Wait, what are the big ones?" Natasha asked.

"Well, I doubt the god of space has to take an ibuprofen after a fight," Yelena continued. "Where did you think I was all this time?"

(Y/N) looked down in shame, not wanting to meet her eyes. "I thought you escaped and we're living a quiet life."

"And you just never made contact again?" Yelena asked.

"Honestly, we thought you didn't wanna see us," Natasha responded.

Yelena let out a sarcastic laugh. "Bullshit."

"You just didn't want your baby sister to tag along whilst you saved the world with the cool kids."

"Well, you're not really my sister, neither of you," Natasha said.

"And the Avengers aren't really your family." Yelena replied.

Silence filled the store, and (Y/N) tried hard to not overthink what Natasha and Yelena had just said. It was true that neither of them were related, but she thought that after growing up together as sisters and fighting together as such, she might've changed that perspective.

"Why do you always do that thing?" Yelena said out of nowhere.

"Do what?" Natasha asked.

"The thing you do when your fighting." Yelena continued. "The. . .like, the. . ."

She bent one knee while the other was stretched out, raising her right arm in the air as she placed her other hand in the ground.
