SS - Class leaders' walk (must read)

Ichinose's POV

I woke up, opened my window and looked to the outside. It was a beautiful day.

I quickly did my usual morning routine, left my room and walked to the elevator

I pressed the button to descend to the first floor, the main hall, intending going to school, but it stopped at the fifth.

The door opened and in front of me was Ayanokouji-kun, leader of Class D.

"Good morning Ichinose." He greeted me, with a warm smile.

"Oh, good morning Ayanokouji-kun!"I raised my hand and smiled as well.

He entered the elevator, standing next to me. We could hear the noises of the elevator and an awkward silence filled it. So while we waited, I decided to start a conversation:

"Tell me Ayanokouji-kun, how's your class dealing with the midterms?"

"Pretty well actually. We made study groups and we're getting progress, so I guess everyone will pass without any problem. Your's?" With pleasant voice we passed me the ball.

"The same. I hope no one gets expelled, it would be a shame, especially with the amazing vacation will have in a desert island." He narrowed his eyes, looked at me and asked:

"What are you talking about? Will we go on vacation to a desert island on the summer break?"

"What? You didn't know? Didn't your sensei told you?" I was confused by his questions but he chuckled and explained:

"Oh, I understand now. Chabashira-sensei likes to prank us, that's why she didn't told us."

The elevator stopped again and we both left, heading to the school.

"But that's so unfair!" I exclamed. They are in a huge disadvantage if they're sensei doesn't explicate them every details they should know about this school and it's system.

"Right?" With a bitter smile, he requested: "Ichinose, I have a question about the S-system I think Chabashira-sensei didn't informed us. I would be really grateful if you could answer."

"What is it?"

"Participating in a club gives you class points and/or private points?" They didn't know such a simple thing? (Ima be honest, idk if they get class points but because im lazy and dont want to confirm, but they will)

"Yeah, but only if you get a good performance, for example, if you're in the basketball club, you'll receive CP and private points if you play on a tournament on the main team."

"Ohh...I undertand now, thanks. Although we are enemies, you still help. You're really a good person." He thanked and praised me, with that smile.

I felt my face heat and he tilted his head in confusion. He was going to speak but got cut off.

"Hi Honami-chan!"

"Good morning Ichinose-san."

Some of my friends greeted me when we arrived the school entrance. I saluted them as well and Ayanokouji-kun muttered:

"Looks like someone is popular."

"Haha, says one of the most popular guy in our school year." I laughed and pointed at him with my index finger.

"There's no way I am as popular as you." He denied my accusation, balancing his head to left and right. (Idk whats the expression 🗿, sry if it is strange...)

"What are you talking about? You're on the top of hottest guys in our school year, you almost broke a world record, you're smart and leader of Class D. Now explain to me, how are you not popular?" Realising I've said too much, I covered my mouth with my hands and averted my gaze.

"It seems I've been caught..." He gave up on trying to defend himself, scratching his nape, since we were at his classroom's door, with his classmates staring at us with curious faces.

"Ichinose, come here for a second." He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the everyone's gazes, approached me, and, with sweet and calm voice, whispered:

"Thanks again for clarifying my doubts. To compensate I'll tell you my inkling: The special exam will certainly be in the desert island, so please, be careful.

He then left me and entered his classroom.

So he thought something similar to me...

Although Ayanokouji-kun appears to be giving all his efforts in saving and leading his class, for some reason I think there's more to it.

He is, by far, the class leader I knew less about, he was a mystery.

I had no idea how he acts in front of the class or his methods, even his full personality was still unknown...

He is totally unpredictable and probably a flawless person.

Yeah, if I wanted to rise to Class A, I really need to be careful.

A/N

I wrote "must read" in the tittle cause it's better not to ignore this SS,(basically this is just a chapter I forgot to write cause I'm dumb 🤦‍♂️) but I won't write that if the SS is just a simple filler.

And I think I might have published accidentally before finishing it. Sry about that... 🤦‍♂️
