I woke up the next day and started getting ready for school. I didn't feel like doing anything at all that day, but I told Lindsay I would go to school. I put on just some black yoga pants that have a white stripe running down the side and a plain dark blue hoodie. I went into my bathroom to brush my hair. After I brushed through my hair, I threw it up in a messy bun and walked out of the bathroom. I grabbed a bottle of perfume that was sitting on my dresser and sprayed myself a couple of times and walked out of my room. Jason was sitting at the kitchen table eating a small bowl of cereal.

"You're out of your room earlier than normal." Jason said.

"Eh I didn't really want to get ready like I usually do." I said putting a couple books in my bookbag.

"I can tell." He said under his breath.

"I heard that!" I jokingly yelled.

"You were supposed to." He said placing his bowl in the sink and rinsing it off.

"Mom says she has to do something today so either you're driving us, or we walk." He said walking out of the kitchen towards his bookbag.

"Well, I don't want to walk, that's for sure," I said. "I guess I'll go get my car started up."

"Good idea." Jason said, picking his bag up and throwing it over his shoulder.

I have a car and my licence. I just never liked driving Jason around, plus my mom likes driving us for some reason. I got into my small car and started it, turning the radio on and changing it to something good. I think the last time I drove my car I had Lindsay with me, and she loves to mess with the radio. I grabbed a breakfast bar from the center console and started eating it waiting for Jason.

"It's about time." I joked, as Jason got in the car.

"What do you mean?" He asked, throwing his bookbag in the back seat.

"Nothing, I was just joking." I said as I started pulling out of the driveway.

...

We got to school and after I parked Jason nearly sprinted out of the car, I have no clue why but ok I guess. I walked up to the school and through the windows I could see Lindsay standing there waiting like always. I walked into the school and started walking to my locker with her.

"Soooooooooooooo." Lindsay said in excitement.

"Sooo?" I asked.

"Are you excited?" She said grabbing a thing of gum I have in my locker, and taking a piece.

"For what? For people not to notice me?" I said as she placed the container back in my locker, "Yeah super excited." I said sarcastically.

"You never know." She said, poking my arm.

"I feel like you have a better chance than me." I said, closing my locker.

"Nah. Have you met me?" She said laughing.

"Unfortunately, I have." I said, sighing then laughing because she hit my shoulder.

"You're lucky I love you." She said jokingly.

"I love you too." I laughed, and parted ways with Lindsay to go to calculus.

Boring as always was calculus, we did our normal notes and worksheet. It doesn't help that I didn't have any friends in this class. After calculus I walked to my cooking class, and happened to run into one of the new students.
