Chappy 2- misfortune

Tw⚠️: angst and possible suicidal thoughts(idk I haven't decided yet) and swearing? this applies for the whole fic but I'll put this at the start of each chapter.
Book 21 spoilers marked in this chapter so u can skip it if you want and then I've quickly summarised what happens as simply as possible at the bottom (but I guess that's technically spoilers too?) :) enjoy.

I quickly retreated back to the dorms after cram class to try to sleep off my depression that's flooding my senses at the moment. I curled up under the covers of my bed to sleep the day away just because I don't want to be awake.
I was suddenly jolted up by my phone buzzing. It was my brother. I picked up the phone and it simply said 'mission, get to cram school now'
I groaned and clambered out of bed and slipped back into my cram school uniform before grabbing my sword and pegging it out of the dorms.

Once I arrived all eyes were on me as my brother simply stated "your late." I looked down and nodded mumbling a quick 'sorry' so that I wouldn't be scolded for backchat. And the meeting began. He explained the mission as an extremely difficult one. To help close the ghennah gate that has been opened up by the Illuminati. I hate to admit but I kind of dread this mission. Having to go up against the Illuminati, against my half brother lucifer, against my friend shima.

We all pile into the minivan to take us to the location. I notice the weather becoming worse, turning to snow delicately falling to the ground, making it much harder to fight in. Many high ranking exorcists, including shura, were already on the scene as we arrived. The Illuminati prepared to fight against us all. A large helicopter hovering above us as we charge into battle, my brother stopping us as he turns around and faces us with a wide shit eating grin as he walks away from us, from the exorcists, from the order and to the Illuminati, our current foes.

"What the hell are you doing yukio?" I yell at him through the heavy snow. "Mr okumura, the Illuminati welcomes you!, after all you can't stay here" shima shouts from behind my brother, after jumping from the hovering helicopter. "Stop screwing around, yukio would never join the Illuminati" I scream, not being able to believe what's currently happening. "Yukio?!" I ask, wanting him to confirm that he won't join our enemy, that he'll stay here and help us, help me and possibly, save me from my fate.

"Before I go, let me tell you something" he said. I looked at him bewildered as he continued. "The knights of the true cross are the same as the Illuminati. Mephisto and the order spent countless lives in experiments to create vessels for demons. In fact it was the order that gave birth to the Illuminati." I stared at him with a look of horror and confusion. "Father Fujimori was one of those subject's those experiments created. They raised him to be an exorcist. Would someone like that have a human heart?" "He was raising us to be weapons, just mere tools" he finished. "Tools? That's not true!! I don't know how the old man was born but he wasn't like that!!!" I yelled, hoping to knock some sense into him. "Yes it was different for you. Because you were special. He may have felt som affection for you but I was defective. I was an eyesore to him......... well... it doesn't matter anymore." He trailed off which only made me angrier at him.

"How can you say that?!........you.........unlike me you're perfect. That's why father fujimoto and I were proud of you!!...... what have you been seeing all this time?! Clean off those glasses and take a good look!!" He sighed and stated "it doesn't matter, I have no more ties to this place." "No! I won't let you go!!!!" I screamed as I charged towards him as he quickly pulled out his hand gin and aimed it right between my eyes.

"I'm sorry............. brother. I want to be strong." Was all he said before pulling the trigger. 'BANG' once between my eyes. 'BANG' once in the throat. 'BANG' once in the chest.
Everything went in slow motion as I dropped to the floor and heard my brother say sincerely "I don't need your help anymore" as I heard shiemi scream out our names.

I took note that yuki was being serious this time as the bleeding didn't stop. I hauled myself off the ground and unsealed my powers. Gripping my sword I charged at my brother and shima, him launching an attack with his kirik (dunno if I spelt that right) and me easily dodging heading straight for yukio. I launched my attack and a burst of blue fire burst from my brothers eye and blocked my attack, snapping the koma sword in two.

My mind went fuzzy as Satan spoke using my brothers body. The other exwires trying to stop my brother from making his escape as my flames start to attack my being. A burst of blue exploding from my chest, where my demon heart resides. I feel myself being burned alive and then nothing. My body turned to ash as my heart manifested above it. Slowly bringing my body back to assiah as I am reborn a full demon. My flame going wild as I let it all out, experiencing the rush of freedom and enjoying it whole heartedly. My power has finally been released and it feels great.

I just hope that my friends won't hate me for this, I hope they aren't afraid, hell who am I kidding, they'll be shitting themselves. If that were scared before with that measly flame I'm sure that they'll be terrified now. They'll shun me even more and I'll probably be executed by the order but who cares anyway. They probably want me gone after this. I'll be locked up, experimented on and then, when there through with me, killed and it'll be covered up as just a rogue demon exorcism. But what can I do to save myself anymore? Nothing, nothing at all, I guess I just have to accept my fate.

A/n: Wo hooo!! 1176 words bro!! And 2 chapters in a day!!! This is so not like me, it usually takes months for me to update and when I do it's a 3-400 word chapter. Oh well. I guess I'm just super hyped for this fic at tho minute.

Also most of this chapter was taken from the manga as in I used the dialogue from the manga. If you don't want spoilers for book 21 I'll mark that part with a spoiler alert and just summarise it here (even thoug this is still kind of a major spoiler):
Basically Rin and yukio get in a fight. Yukio goes over to the enemy and Rin gets shot then his sword breaks turning him fully demon :)
