Once I was out of the hole JJ put me down.
"Code Red: square groupers square groupers"Pope said pointing to the headlights in the distance.
"it's the guys who robbed your house"JJ asked panicked.
We rushed behind the stone burial to hide.
"Light, light" Kie yelled refering to our flashlights that would bring attention to us if the groupers saw them.
I turned my flashlight off and watched John B struggle.He shoved it under his shirt but realized the fabrick wasn't thick enough to block out the light. After a few minuets he was able to find the power button.
"I see something" One of the men called out
"homies got a gun"JJ said peering over the side of the stone
"Screw it" I said before running out of cover into the lights.
I ran to the gate and the other Poiges followed behind. Once I reached the gate, alongside JJ, I climbed over it then waited with him on the other side for the others. Kie climbed over it carefully followed by Pope. In the process of him attempting to climb over, his shorts got stuck on one of the bars.
"guys im stuck" he said bring our attention to him
"shit" I said walking slightly back
"Hold still Pope,"JJ said pointing the gun at him.
I slightly shoved JJ.
"Your not shooting that anywhere near him"I told.
He rolled his eyes then shoved the gun back into his pocket.John B helped Pope get unstuck.His pants stuck to the bar and ripped once he got himself unstuck.He left them there and followed us to the can.
"Its a little tootsie roll"JJ shouted to Pope.
John B got into the driver seat while I sat in the passenger seat.Everyone else sat in the back.
We rode back to John Bs house to open the package.
At his house. JJ was making a sandwhich on the counter while we all gathered around John B who was sitting at the table.
"That bread had mold on it three days ago"Pope mentioned
"Iʻll just pull off the bad parts, plus mold is good for you its just a nautral organisim"He said before taking a bite.
He chewed it for a few seconds then started looking sround for a place to spit it.He spit in into the trash can right next to me.
"Ew J" I said
Meanwhile John B opened the package and pulled out a map
"X marks the spot" Pope said pointing to an X marked on the map.
"Wait, there's something else here "John B said pulling a tape recodrder out
"what is it "JJ asked
"A tape recorder dumbass"I replied
He looked at me and smirked.
John B pressed play and his father started talking.
