John B Point of View

I know I should have learned a long time ago not to listen to JJ or Y/n. They are full of bad ideas, like stealing scuba gear from my rich boss.

Y/n Point of View

"This ones empty,this ones empty,this ones quater full. You took empty tanks?"Pope asked looking at the oxygen left inside the air tanks.

"Its enough for one of us"Kie mentioned

"Ah we love it when a plan comes together"I said sarcastically

"does anyone know how to dive"Kie asked

"I read about it"Pope mentioned

"Great, Pope read about it so were okay"I said once again being sarcastic.

"How hard can it be"JJ asked  looking back at me "You put the thing in your mouth and breath"

"If you come up too fast you can get the Bends"Pope told

"Bends like"JJ bent over "bend over" He asked

"The bends kill you" Pope said which made JJ to change his emotion from snarky to serious.

"I can dive" John B spoke up

"since when"Kie asked suspiciously

"I'll do it, its fine"

Pope started to go over some calculations about depth.

"You need your saftey spot to be 10 feet down at two minuets"

I had an idea.

I took off my shirt revealing my bikini and jumped into the water

John B Point of View

"W-What was that about"I asked throwing my arms in the air

"I don't know, but I liked it,alot"JJ said lowering his shades

I shook my head.

"Uh anyways yeah saftey spot 10 feet two minuets"I rushed

Y/n surfaced and saw back over to the boat.

"I tyed my shirt about ten feet down"She said climbing back onto the boat

Y/n Point of View

"Alright, diver down?"Pope asked John B from the steering wheel.

"Yeah he is"JJ said pushing him in off the boat.

(Had to do it twice.It my fave art)

"Are you cold"He asked

I nodded.He grabbed a towel and wrapped it around me. Once it was surounding me he ran his hands up and down my back.

"Never knew you as a gentleman"Y/n joked

I rolled my eyes but inevidebly ended up laughing.

"Guys its the cops"Kie said getting our attention

"Oh God"Pope said nervously

"Just act fricken normal"I reminded

"Here" One of the deputies said handing Pope the rope that was attached to their boat.

"tie it off"Kie said

"How you kids doing?...You know the marsh
is closed?"

"No, we didnt know that.If you dont mind me asking, why"Pope asked.

"boat went down, you haven't seen anything "

"no, no boats"I reasured

"Where's your friend your always hangin out with"

"Working "Kie spoke up

"Hope you dont mind, im gonna check your little boat out"

"No, we dont mind, go ahed."

One of the deputies climbed aboard.

"you got annother one"He asked refrring to life vests

"yeah yeah its in the hold"Pope answers

JJ got up to show him the vests before closing the  compartment and sitting back down next to me.

"Beautiful day, isnt it"The other deputie asked

"Yep,beautiful"I replied

"let us know if you see anything on your way out"

"will do"Pope asured

With that, they untied their boat and rode away. Not even a minute later, John B popped his head up panting.

"You scared the crap out of me"Kie said walking over to the edge of the boat

"I ran out of air"He continued to pant as he sawm over to the side of the boat.

"did you find anything "Pope asked

"did I find anything"He joked lifting up a black bag

"Guys bougie two o'clock "I yelled getting their attention

"The marsh is closed" Pope stated confused why the other people were in here.

They started to pick up speed towards us.

"JJ, Get the bowline"John B told

Kie pulled out the stern.

"go, go,go, into the marsh"John B yelled

"Lets go"Kie shouted at Pope to go faster.

The next few minutes were chaotic.
We were going full speed, and the boat continued to follow us. Even after some time we still couldnʻt manage to loose them

"Im gonna gun it"John B yelled

"What the-" Kie says after seeing on of the men pull out a shot gun

"get down "Pope yelled

JJ pulled me to the floor of the boat since I wasnʻt even paying attention.

"Get down John B" Kie reminded

John B continues to drive slightly ducking down.

I had a plan.

I started to crawl to the back of the boat.

"What the hell are you doing"JJ asked

I shook my head.

I grabbed the fishing net and threw it in the water behind us.We could hear their engine clicking and their motor stopped.

"wooh"Kie yelled

She high fived me before we drove out of the marsh
We decieded to wait till we got back to John B's house to open the bag .

"what do you thinks in the bag? Gold? More keys"

"OH MY GOD JUST OPEN THE BAG ALREADY"

"Wow Pope that was emotional"I said

"The anticipation is killing me"He told us

John B opened the bag to reveal a metal cylinder can. He twisted the lid and tipped it over so the contents would fall out onto his hand.

"A compass, great. Its not worth anything"JJ said

"it was my dads" John B said making JJ immediately regret his initial thought.
