JJ was sitting in the driver seat and I was in the passenger seat

"JJ where are we going this isnt the way back to the Chateau "Sarah spoke up

"We have to make a quick pit stop first"

We pulled into what looked like a rundown trailer park,and I thought the Chateau was bad.

JJ quickly opened his door and began walking up to one of the trailers.

"JJ what the hell are you doing"I asked getting out and following him

He walked into the trailer and started digging around

"come on I know you have a stash somewhere"He mumbled

"Whats your plan J"I asked sinisterly

"As they hath stealeth from us, we shall stealith from ye"

"JJ Barry knows who we are.He knows who I am...once he finds out about this he'll come after us."

"There we go"He grabbed a duffle bag off the top shelt in one of the closets.

"JJ do-"

.After he unzipped ut he began taking stacks of money out of the bag.He took some of it and started walking outside

"JJ"John B shouted"If you keep going down this road your gonna end up like your old man"He continued

"John B shut the hell up"I shoved him

"Are you tired of being messed with"JJ asked.

John B didnt answer

"Cause I sure am...Were looking at 5 grand each...sorry bout that ya'll "

"Blondie put it back"I comanded

He shook his head.

"Did you like having a gun pointed at your head? cause I sure didnt"

"What are you gonna do when he comes after us."

"Punch him in the throat"He quickly replied

"Yeah good fucking idea JJ "

He got in the van .

"You guys coming"

No one  budged

"Were sick of your shit"John B spoke up I nudged him again.

"My shit "He asked

"Yeah you know you pulling guns on people, that shit"Pope said

JJ rolled his eyes.

"I took the fall for you Pope,do you know how much I owe cause of you"He asked

"I didnʻt ask you to, and I swear im gonna pay you back"

"You know what..im just gonna go off by myself"

"Im going with you"

"No-- Y/n your staying here"

He started to walk away.
"JJ what the hell"I shouted walking towards him.

John B grabbed me and held me back.

"John B, you asshole let go"

But he didnt.

I dont know what came over me.I was worried about JJ and worried about what Barry would do.
My breathing quickened

John B quickly let go of me.

"Y/n y/n calm down its okay, hes gonna be okay"He reasured

"Holy shit"I said trying to calm down

Sarah walked over to me and hugged me

"Its okay"She said rubbing my back.

We headed back to the Chateau letting JJ go off on his own.I wanted to go and make sure he was okay, but the Pouges kept reassuring me he was.

We talked about the plan that night:Go back,get the gold and put it in a safe so no one could get to it.

"What about the thing with my dad"Sarah asked

"Oh right,I have to fish with Ward"John B reminded

"Go some other time,this is the gold were talking about"Pope said

He lookd at Sarah.

"I have to"He told

"Fine,weʻll go at night"I said

That night,Pope and I met up at John B's place to finish preparing while he was at Tanny Hill.

"I have to be home before my scholar interview tomorrow"He told

"You will Pope,don't worry.Your gonna do great"
I assured him

He nodded as we walked into the back yard.

"John B and JJ will be in the well, I'll be on top, and you and Sarah will transport.

I nodded

"What the hell"I said looking at the fairy lights that were hung from the trees.

"What the hell is that"He asked looking at the hottub that was newly sitting in John B's back yard.

"JJ? What did you do" I asked walking closer to him.

"I got a jet going straight up my butt right now"He was drunk, and it was obvious

"Ya'll should get in right now"He said slurring his words

"Blondie how much did this cost"

"Uh,well,Between the generator,the petrol,and express delivery.Pretty much all of it"

"You spent 25k in one day"Pope yelled

"Man, it burned a hole right through my pocket. I mean look at this ,finest jet massage therepy. Can't a man have some luxury "JJ pleaded

"Jay-"

"You only live once right"He asked

Tears filled my eyes.
"dont get emotional,cupcake.Get in the cats ass"

"The what"Pope asked.

"Its what I named her"He snickered"Yo I almost forgot--"
Jj pressed a button ona small remote and the overhead disco ball began to spin.

"JJ you could have paid for restotuion"

"Or supplise"Pope suggested

"Well you know what,I got a hot tub for my friends. Screw friends I got a hot tub for my family"

He stood up out of the water.There were bruises all down his chest. .His dad.He must have gone home.

"JJ what the hell"I asked as tears rolled down my face

"Guys look alright look what I did for you"

Tears started roaming down my face.

"No,stop dont get emotional"He slurred

I walked over to the hot tub and stepped inside immedietly wrapping my arms around him.He placed his head on my chest,and could feel the moisture from his tears fall onto my arm.

"I just couldnt do it"He cried out wrapping his arms around me

"I was gonna kill him"He continued

I tightened my grip and felt Pope's arms wrap around the both of us.

"I just want to do the right thing"He continued

"I know"

Pope pulled away from the hug,but JJ still kept his arms around my waist.

"Im sorry"He said crying

"shh,its okay"I reasured before kissing his forehead.

Pope smiled as JJ rested his face on my shoulder.It felt like hours before we went inside.
