Bobby glanced out of the corner of his eye and saw Lindsay sleeping. He wiggled carefully in order to not wake her up.
He leaned over the top of the buses seat and stared down at Marcy and Stu who stopped flirting with each other to look up at him with annoyed looks plastered on their faces. Bobby smirked down at them and reached for the back of his ear, where he took out a joint and flashed it to Stu, whose face lit up as soon as he saw it. He peeped out into the bus aisle to see if there were any kids watching them, ready to snitch to the bus driver which would most definitely get them thrown off the bus. Once he saw no movement from anyone on the bus other than Bobby who was now impatiently waving the joint in front of Stu's face, waiting for him to take it.
Stu yanked the joint from Bobby's fingers and slid it into his pocket. "Thanks dude." Bobby saluted him with a smirk and sunk back down into his seat, positioning his headphones back over his ears and blasting his music loudly, but not loud enough to wake Lindsay.
The ride to camp only took half an hour. It was just like any other summer camp, it had cabins for the campers and seperate ones for the counselors. It has a massive lake and across from the actual camp itself was a crop field, no one knew how big the field was except for the farmers who worked there but it was said to be really big and easy to get lost in. The bus stopped and all the kids got off first, the yelling and screaming woke Lindsay up with a startle and she found Bobby staring at her with a bored look.
Lindsay gave a swift apology to Bobby and got up from her seat and slowly travelled down the steps of the bus to find Ned standing in front of her and in front of all the middle schoolers.
Ned was a much older guy, probably in his mid 30s. He was one of camp sunshines counselors and took charge in looking out for the younger counselors, making sure that they didn't get up to trouble and were doing their jobs properly.
Ned dismissed the middle schoolers and sent them off to their cabins to unpack their stuff and get settled. Once they were gone, Ned told the group of counselors to line up and they complied. He then started circling them like a predator going in for the kill.
"If you have any illegal substances on you, give them to me now. If you don't give it up now, then I'll report you to the police." He said sternly as he glared down his nose at the young counselors.
He went to each of them and almost all of them except Lindsay and Barbara had given him some sort of illegal substance, including alcohol and stronger drugs. Ned dismissed them, confident that he'd gotten all of the drugs and alcohol out of them. When he was about to leave for the mess hall, he stopped in front of Bobby and peered down at him. Bobby looked up at him in response and Ned scoffed.
"Get rid of that damn cape and scrub that face paint off, you're not some prissy faggot." Bobby's frame went stiff and he stood still and was as quiet as a mouse, he quickly averted his eyes and lowered his head. With that, Ned disappeared into the mess hall. The group looked over at Bobby for a second before they all went off with their bags to their own cabins. Bobby picked up his backpack and swung it over his shoulder, walking quickly past Lindsay so she couldn't say anything to comfort him. He knew the others wouldn't try to comfort him so he joined in with their conversation.
"Where is Cain? Thought he was gonna be here?" He said aloud to Marcy and Stu who were clinging to each other while swinging their bags. They looked at each other and then both simultaneously looked back at Bobby before Marcy responded. "You really think Cain would willingly come here? Please! He knows damn well that if he ever showed up, it would ruin his bad boy reputation." Carl sighed dramatically and threw his head back. "Can't believe that fucking asshole took my coke." He croaked out a short whine and grasped Barbara's hand.
