"Shit!" Cain yelled out, kicking one of the now flat tires. He ran a hand through his hair and let out a rough sigh. he lifted his head up and his eyes drifted towards the crop field that stood basically right in front of them. "We should go through the crop field, if we go through it, we might be able to lose him." He stated, turning around to face Lindsay and Bobby.

Lindsay kicked at the concrete with the heel of her sneaker and looked at Cain, nodding. "Let's go then, he'll be catching up with us soon."

They all ran off and slipped into the large crop field, disappearing out of plain sight.

Cain slipped a hand down his back pocket and pulled out his pack of cigarettes and lighter. He flicked the lid of the lighter open with a click and settled a cigarette between his lips, lighting it. He inhaled deeply and exhaled through his nose, the smoke travelling behind him, hitting Lindsay in the face. She coughed out and waved a hand in front of her to get rid of the smoke.

"Who knew the pumpkin from the field was possessed, huh." Cain spoke out, muffled slightly by the cigarette still stuck in between his lips. He said this to try and ease the tension that was currently in the air, since they'd entered the field, they didn't hear anything out of the ordinary. Just the wind rustling through the crops. "I don't understand how something like this could happen, it seems like only something that would happen in a horror movie." Cain nodded slightly.

Lindsay stopped in her tracks and reached around in the back pocket of her shorts, pulling out a handgun.

"You're the one who found that pumpkin, my guess is that your band summoned the devil and it possessed it, turning it into a monster of destruction." Lindsay stated, she continued. "You told Barbara that she was gonna die and you were being violent with her." Cain slowly turned around when he heard the click of the gun now drawn on him. He took the cigarette out of his mouth and exhaled slowly.

"The hell are you talking about? Summoning the devil? Are you mad, girl?" His brows furrowed and he rolled his eyes. "I wasn't being violent with her, I was trying to calm her down and bring her back to her senses." Lindsay grit her teeth and she shot at him.

Cain had held his arm and hand out, trying to ease her but it obviously didn't work and the bullet shot through his hand and through his right eyeball. He yelled out and dropped his cigarette, gripping his hand over his eye.

"You fucking bitch, you're gonna regret having done that." He hissed out at her, the hole in his palm where the bullet shot through, healing up instantly. Lindsay stumbled back at the sight of this, catching a glint of rage in Cain's good eye.

She pulled the gun back on him. "What the hell are you, a demon?" Cain chuckled as his left eye began to also heal back up, a whiteness glazing over the the pupil of his eye now. Bobby was just standing there, staring at them both. He looked over at Cain with saddened eyes, he was confused but also scared of the situation at hand. He didn't want to think that Cain was a bad person, after all - he was arguably the only person in the whole camp who understood him and he felt comforted by him.

"I'm not a demon, little girl. I AM A GOD." Lindsay glared at him and shot once more, Cain's arm turning into a green vine to stop the bullet mid air. Fear flashed through her doe eyes as she was lifted off of the ground, her feet dangling in the air. She started kicking and screaming, her sneakers barely touching the now thick vine that Cain had in place of a fleshy human arm. She clawed at the vine, leaving white scratch marks down it. Cain took the gun in his human hand and put it up to Lindsay's head, cocking it.

Bobby swallowed the bile that was rising to his throat swiftly, planting his feet into the muddy ground beneath him. Cain turned his head around to face him, tilting it to the side. "I don't wanna kill her, but I don't have any other choice. If I let her go, she'll try to kill me without listening to reason. You understand right?" Bobby's eyes softened towards him and sighed.
