Caught in plain Sight

The rest of the day was okay. Thank God it was Friday, I didn't wanna see him anymore. I kept my eye out and so did Jack, but the finial bell rings and we walk out of school.

*That Night*
My phone goes off. It's Jack!
G- Hey babe wanna go to a party?
Me- Who's?
G- Nate and Kenny's
Me- What if Sammy's there?
G- I'll protect you baby girl, don't worry.
Me- I'm just scared G.
G-😚 trust me Kay?
Me- I'll be ready in 15!
G- I'll be there in 10.

10 minutes later!
I was laying on my bed waiting for Jack. He lets his self in and walks into my room.
"Babe?" He says as I stair at the ceiling.
"Yeah?" "Are you okay?" "Yeah, just tired!" "Your not tired, your scared aren't you?" "Terrified." "Babe, I'll be right there don't worry. Let's go have fun." I put my arm out and he pulled me up off the bed, close to his chest. "See I'll never let you go." I blushed then walked out of my room with Jack following close behind. We get in the car and Jack grabs my hand and smiles.

20 minutes later
When we arrived, I was so scared that I was gonna pass out. Even though Jack said that he would protect me, there was an awful lot of drinks around. "JAACCKK!" We both heard from behind us. Lucky it was Kenny and Cameron. "What's up guys?" "Nothing much. Glad y'all could make it!" "Thanks for the invite!" Jack said. "Hey I'm gonna go to the bathroom I'll be back." I yelled in Jack's ear since you really can't hear anything because of the music. He nods.
When I got to the bathroom, I threw up. Maybe just nerves. Suddenly there was a knock at the door. "Hold on just a sec."
I finished up and took a quick glance at myself in the mirror. I opened the door and standing right in front of me was Sammy. Oh Shit!

"Kayden?" I just stood there in shock, trying to come back to reality. Then I blurted out "No, sorry." I ran passed him and down the hallway. There was so many people as I tried to pushed threw. I guess Jack noticed me running out cause I heard his voice behind me. Tears started falling down my cheeks. I got to the car and sat in the passenger seat. I locked the door trying to catch my breath. Then I hear Jack open the drivers side door and sit next to me. "Babe what happen?" "He saw me, Jack. I went to the bathroom and threw up cause of the nerves and then someone knocked at the door. I finished up and opened the door and he said my name. I wanted to say Oh shit but I blurted "No" and ran out!" He turns the car on and speeds off. We finally get to his house and he opens the door and carries me bridal style to his room. I acted like I was asleep cause I felt like I just seen a ghost. He lays me on his bed and whispers in my ear, "I wasn't there to protect you. I'm so sorry baby." He holds me in his arms and pulls the blankets over us. As he pulls me into his chest, I said "You didn't know." "But I shouldn't have been so stupid." "Jack it's okay. It's not your fault. You did protect me, by getting me out of there." "I'm so sorry baby." "Don't be." He starts to stroke my hair and places a sweet kiss on my forehead. Right as I'm about to drift off, he says, "I love you, Kaydlen Moore."
