"Mr. Gilinsky, how are you today!" Mrs. Jacobs asked! "It's Jack, Mrs. J!" he said.
"Well "Jack" I need you to help Ms. Moore to the rest of her class since you both have the same schedule!" he looked me up and down. "What's your name, beautiful?" he said in a smart ass voice! I rolled my eyes and said, "Kaydlen!" Once I said my first name his smart ass attitude went away, his eyes lit up. "Kaydlen Moore, like the Kaydlen Moore, like the daughter of James Moore, the greatest dirt-bike racer of like all time?" I slightly blushed. "You've heard of my father!" "Yeah, he awesome.....wow we have much to discuss." He grabbed my hand pulled me towards him. "Thanks Mrs. Jacobs!" she smiled and walked away!
We went to lunch then to 3rd and 4th. We talked about everything from my dad to racing then about the bikes. I thought of the big get together party my dad was throwing with some of the guys he races with.
"So my dad is having this party tomorrow for the rest of his buddies that races with him, would you maybe....wanna come?" he lite up with excitement. "That would be amazing, but uhh can I bring someone? If not then that's okay!" "Uhh yeah that's fine!" I thought yay he has a girlfriend and had like sort of a frown on my face. "It's my brother, we've been huge fans of your Dad since we were 9." I looked up & smiled. "Is that better?" he laughed. "What do you mean?" I smiled "What did you think?, I had a girlfriend?" I blushed and smiled. "I knew it!" he said and laughed!
