Toodaloo

A forgotten trail,

Full of dead trees so pale,

The crow how it mocks me,

I am and who are thee,

A beggar and a fool,

Toodaloo,

The trail sits beaten broken,

It's tale told hardly spoken,

Of the travelers once upon it,

Their guilds and their outfit,

But that past sits now behind me,

Toodaloo,

I've come now into a clearing,

The ruins within begin appearing,

Of the city once grand and bold,

What secrets it does withhold,

But their whispers only fall on deaf ears,

Toodaloo,

My path has lead me to a lonely gate,

Sealed behind lies my uncertain fate,

The keeper stands guard with his watchful eyes,

While crows circle above in the eternal skies,

And as I pass how they laugh,

Toodaloo.
