Dragmire whipped the reins of his horse to try to get his stead to move faster. At the same time, he wasn't trying to push his horse too far.
He had managed to stop the bleeding of the small stab wounds but needed to make sure they weren't infected. The only problem was he had no herbs to treat them.
He was certain that the people of Kakariko Village would be able to help him recover.
As much as this hero needed help, Dragmire wasn't sure if he would be very welcomed in their village. If they did, he wouldn't blame them since he was bringing someone who looked half dead.
As he passed the gate that lead into the village, he was greeted by two sheikah guards approach him bearing their blades and looking at him with a hostile glare. "State your business here stranger".
Dragmire got off his stead and raised his hands above his head. "I don't mean to cause you any harm, I've come to save him. He was stabbed a couple of times, but I managed to stop the bleeding.
The two of them sheltered their blades.
One of the guards approached his horse to investigate and checked the Hylain on top of his stead. A realization lit his face, he looked as if he knew who this person was.
"Reckless boy," the guard mumbled under his breath before signaling the other guard to help him remove the hylain off his stead.
"Thank you," one of them mouthed before helping the other carefully carry the young hylain along the path before disappearing around the bend. Two other guards came running towards Dragmire.
They looked much older, but also had white hair like the other two guards.
"Pardon our rudeness, we haven't had many visitors in awhile. My name's Cado and is Dorain," he said introducing himself and the other guard.
"You're a male gerudo, aren't you?" Dorain asked. Dragmire nodded in response.
Both of them looked at each other before nodding. "Follow us".
Without question, Dragmire took the reins of his horse and followed behind them down the winding path that lead deeper into the village.
Walking down the hill, he spotted the villagers of the town gathering at the sidelines watching him as he passed.
Many of the children were amazed at the height of his stead. They looked as if they were trying hard to fight the urge to pet it.
The other villagers of the town however looked at him with worry in their eyes. He wondered what sort of thoughts were going through their minds to make them wary of him.
Finally coming to a clearing, Cado and Dorain stopped at a wooden staircase let lead to a lone house that stood before two small waterfalls that pooled into a pond around the raised house.
"Lady Impa will be waiting for you in her home," Cado said as he let Dragmire go past him and Dorain.
Dragmire walked up the wooden steps. They creaked lightly under the weight of his feet, but he was pretty sure he wasn't heavy enough to break them.
At the top, he stopped in hestation. Perhaps it was because he was nervous, this was the first time that he was meeting the leader of the Sheikah tribe after all.
After a short time, he finally made his move and reached for the handle of the door. Once open, he was surprised to see a eldery lady sit on top of a tower of cushions, she looked as small as child.
"Ah, so you must be the greudo that everyone has been talking about. In all my years, I never imagined I would see a male greudo in my lifetime".
Dragmire dipped his head politely. "You may call me Dragmire, Lady Impa".
