It's been a couple of days since their last hangout. Chenle didn't realize how packed his schedule would be in New York but it's expected as NCT was becoming more known worldwide. They've been to asked to perform at every possible stage there was and join as many interviews they could fit in one day. The whole group was exhausted and didn't get to enjoy their trip much.

Finally, the staff decided to give them a rest day. After 3 days of full on performing and interviews, they realized they themself were tired as hell.

"Hey manager, inform the group that they will have a rest day today and are allowed to go around New York. They can use the company card and treat themselves." The secretary informed the groups' manager.

Chenle called Aera, they were supposed to meet at Central Park in about 5 minutes and he arrived early.

"Hey, are you almost here. I got here a bit earlier." Chenle was a bit nervous, he hasn't seen her in a while and it was mainly his fault.

"Yeah I actually am like a minute away, where are you?" Aera asked and Chenle started smiling. He hasn't been able to hear her voice in so long.

"Uhh I think I'm by a bagel shop." Chenle looked around and saw he was standing next to a shop. "Perfect, i'll be there soon."

Chenle was getting the nerves through this entire body. He was afraid of seeing her and if anything would've changed in the past 3 days.

"Hey!" Aera went up to him. Even with a mask on, Chenle was still recognizable to her or maybe to anyone actually.

"Hey!" Chenle hugged her. It was something he liked, she figured this was his love language as he mentioned he never said the words "I love you" before not even to his family.

"So anything you wanna do?" Aera asked, although Central Park was big, she wasn't quite sure if he wanted to walk so much.

"Well not really, I'm not familiar with any of this so I guess you lead the way." Chenle smiled. "Let's ride the horses and they'll walk around the park so we can just sit and talk." Aera brought up an idea as she saw the carriage approaching them. "Yeah that sounds perfect!"

They were assisted by a gentleman who helped both of them get to their seats and started walking the horse as they were riding.

"So you've been busy," Aera started, she didn't want this just to be quiet the entire time. "Yeah i'm sorry, I didn't mean for us not to talk. It's just been so tiring since we've been performing and doing interviews from morning to night and there's barely any time for us to hang out." Aera nodded, she knew what being an idol would be like, hectic and stressful. "No worries, i'm still glad we can even hang out today." She smiled, Chenle started to realize she was a lot similar to Jeno, both having eye smiles.

Chenle decided to take a photo of the horse and Aera noticed he was on his phone for quite a while. When he finally put it away, Aera got a notification.

Daddy ❤️~ has sent a message

She looked back at Chenle, "You sent a bubble message?" she asked. "Yeah, how'd you know?" Area showed him the phone. "I still don't understand why your name is daddy." Aera shook her head, the name was so stupid but yet funny. "Hey, it's a cute name. All my fans are my daughters and sons."

Aera felt her heart almost wanting to explode out of her chest. "Calm down, deep breathe." She told herself. She needed to stop it or else she wouldn't be able to speak properly anymore.

After 2 hours go by, Aera had to leave for classes but Chenle insisted he walk her back to university. He went home straight after just to walk into chaos.

"Soooo, how was your date?" Renjun asked smirking. "Have I ever mentioned I hate you?" Chenle put away his clothes and changed back in pajamas. "I mean you did admit to being on a date with her." Jeno smiled while Chenle was staring into his soul. "We never put a name on it, we just called it hangouts not dates." Chenle explained. He would want to have a date with her but does the past hangouts count as one?
